Vos responsabilités en tant qu’Assistant·e gérant·e fruits et légumes:
- Assiste le·la gérant·e dans la planification et la coordination des activités du département de façon à atteindre les objectifs de vente et de rentabilité fixés par le·la directeur·trice et ce, tout en respectant la convention collective en vigueur.
- Assiste le·la gérant·e dans la gestion des employé·e·s.
- Remplace le·la gérant·e lorsqu'il·elle est absent·e.
- Doit être en mesure d'effectuer les commandes et les achats du département. Vérifie la conformité des factures avec les bons de livraison et voit à la réception des marchandises.
- S'assure que le magasin est prêt à recevoir la clientèle tant à l'égard de la quantité de marchandises, à la présentation des étalages de fruits et légumes, à la rotation des stocks.
- S'assure du prêt-aux-affaires du département.
- Voit à ce que l'étiquetage des produits respecte les normes du magasin, la liste des prix du bureau chef et les prix de la caisse à lecteur optique et s'assure que les cartes de prix respectent la circulaire.
- Assure la fraîcheur des produits du département et ce, en tout temps
- S'assure du respect de la mise en marché des planogrammes.
- Doit être en mesure de faire les cédules de travail des employé·e·s.
- S'assure du respect des politiques de la compagnie (réception, sécurité, etc.) et des normes d'hygiène, de salubrité, de santé et sécurité au travail.
- Participe à l'accueil, à la formation et à l'évaluation des employé·e·s.

+ Assist with invoicing and coordination of all Branch Transfer shipments

We are seeking a hands-on Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our warehouse facility. This role is responsible for supervising all warehouse operations including inventory management, receiving, material handling, product packaging, and shipping. About The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and process-minded Inventory Control Specialist who thrives in hands-on warehouse work but also demonstrates leadership potential. This role focuses primarily on receiving accuracy and inventory reliability, followed by shipping efficiency and occasional delivery support. The right candidate will not only excel in daily operations but will also take ownership of improving processes, training others, and working closely with the Warehouse Manager.
What You'll Do
Inventory Accuracy & Receiving
Accurately receive, verify, and record incoming goods.
Ensure inventory counts are correct, reliable, and reconciled with system data.
Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory and documentation.
Shipping Operations
Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments with precision and timeliness.
Verify documentation and order accuracy prior to shipping.
Process Ownership & Improvement
Document, review, and refine receiving, shipping, and inventory control processes.
Track performance metrics (accuracy, throughput, error rates) and propose improvements.
Leadership Development

Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory quantities to ensure that inventory is accurate and sufficient to meet operational needs.
- Monitor the inventory requests queue and process inventory transactions.
- Log and track work orders in progress in the inventory management software
- Support inventory transfers, returns, and adjustments.
- Perform regular cycle counts and/or count reconciliation, and report discrepancies.
- Prepare work order pick lists and inventory receipts.
- Update internal communication logs.
- Generate inventory reports and purchase request forms for the procurement team.
- Ensure proper labelling and organized storage of inventory items.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma /GED Equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in inventory control.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (ERP), and other inventory software; Sage 300 an asset.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft office suite.
- Agile physical mobility.

Summary
The Inventory Control Assistant will be responsible to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are achieved on the Production Floor at all times.They also assist production employees with ERP transactions and submit questions and problems to their manager.Primary responsibilities include utilizing knowledge of inventory cycles to manage and control Production inventory levels, and ensuring information in the Global Shop ERP system is accurate and up to date at all times.
Job Duties
- Electronically prepare/process all transfers of material between departments within Production
- Ensure adequate stock levels for Production requirements.
- Electronically update and maintain the Global Shop ERP system.
- Assist with shop floor production transactions, give feedback to the inventory control manager about current processes and suggest possible improvements
- Monitor and track inventory delivered direct to departments, barcode, and assign locations to property.
- Coordinate and submit timely and accurate inventory control data and analysis as required.
- Conduct periodic spot checks (cycle counts) of warehouse materials and participate in a formal inventory at least once annually.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous Inventory Management experience in a multi-product Manufacturing environment a definite asset.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels within the Company
- Familiarity with and ERP/MRP System such as Global Shop an asset.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
- Strong computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office software suites.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Valid drivers license.
Work Conditions
- Physical ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
- Extremely busy environment must be able to work with little supervision
- Overtime as required.
- Hazards associated with working in a manufacturing environment.
