GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Sell Engineering services to existing and prospective Oilsands, Midstream, and Mining clients in AB and BC
  • Sell Construction (GC) and EPC services to Oilsands clients in AB

Requirements

Essential:

  • College Diploma in a related field
  • Bilingual (English/ French)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related experience
  • Proficient sales skills and a keen desire to continue developing those skills
  • Must demonstrate sound technical and mechanical proficiency relating to various product applications
  • Advanced computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.)

Our client is a market leader in the HVAC space and looking for a technical sales rep based in Toronto, ON.As a Sales Rep, you will be responsible for managing internal relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service, processing orders and quotations, and promoting company products to generate increased sales. You will also work closely with the inside/outside sales teams, source parts and equipment, and maintain inventory accuracy.


If you are someone who enjoys providing exceptional customer service, has knowledge and experience in the HVAC industry, and wants to join a dynamic and dedicated team, then this is the role for you!

Requirements:

Working closely with an existing dealer network and generating new business for the company and our parts product lines, your main job responsibilities will include:

Recruiting new dealers/customers.

Developing our existing dealer network.

Achieving agreed upon sales goals for assigned territory.

Introducing new and existing programs and products to customers.

Developing and implementing marketing strategies, goals and sales plans.

Accepting and processing new orders from customers, and keeping customers aware of product availability and the status of their orders.

Building strong internal and external client relationships by providing dedicated customer service.

Actively participating in industry associations and events.

Assisting the credit department in the collection of outstanding debts and the resolution of disputes with customers.

Skills & Behaviors

Minimum 2-5yrs of successful sales experience in a fast paced, competitive and high-volume environment, ideally within an HVAC/R, technical and/or distribution Company.

Post-secondary degree/diploma

Proven negotiation, sales and leadership abilities.

Organized, independent individual who has a strong desire to sell and succeed.

Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer service orientated.
