**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Proper traying of meals on the assembly lines
- Portioning and labelling of meals
- Sorting and unboxing the frozen food and emptying it into the bin

We are currently hiring for the position of Production Line Worker for one of our clients in Sherwood Park. Our client is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team and ensure prompt and efficient production of their products. As a Production Line Worker, your main responsibility will be running the production machinery on the production lines. You will work under the supervision of the production manager. This is a part-time position.
What We Offer:
- Part-time work on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Possibility of added mid shifts during the week (1:00 pm to 9:30 pm)

Requirements:
- Preferred, but not mandatory, previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role

We are a confidential, non-judgmental and culturally grounded helpline available 24 hours, 7 days a week. We are seeking dedicated and resourceful Talk4Healing Relief Helpline Crisis Workers with a passion for helping women through emotional and crisis support/intervention.

RELIEF HELPLINE CRISIS WORKER
Position Title:Relief Helpline Crisis Worker
Hours of Work:0 to 40 hours per week, based on the needs of the organization

Position Summary
Relief Helpline Crisis Workers are responsible for providing coverage and support services, in multiple Indigenous languages, English or French to callers on the Anishinabe Womens Help Line during weekdays and weekends within an Anishinabe Health and Wellness Framework.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
To work from a holistic perspective, utilizing the teachings of the medicine wheel and Seven Grandfather Teachings.
To take personal responsibility to increase sensitivity, awareness and implementation of Beendigens cultural teachings and organizational practices in both professional conduct and work-related deliverables.
To be prepared to work in conjunction with the philosophy and mandate of the organization.
To preserve confidentiality of all residents, clients, staff, students, volunteers and agency information.
To represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
To provide shift coverage and support to full-time staff during weekdays, statutory holidays and week-ends.
To provide emotional and crisis support/intervention, safety planning, information and referrals to Anishinabe women to assess their situation, particularly with reference to their safety.
To provide information and assistance in naming appropriate strategies; provides information and referral to appropriate community resources.
To provide reliable and accurate information and services referral to Anishinabe women fleeing violent relationships.
To provide information, support and assistance to friends, families, neighbours of abused Anishinabe women, service providers and other professionals in contact with abused women.
To maintain records of all calls according to the format and guidelines set out by the Help Line.
To operate in an unbiased, woman-positive, and non-judgmental manner, consistent with the philosophy of the service.
To keep up to date with necessary information in order to accurately assess a callers situation and to determine appropriate community resources if any.
To keep up to date with professional development in order to understand the continuing emergence of new issues and acquire more in-depth information in the whole field of Anishinabe woman abuse.
To attend all mandatory training within the Help Lines internal training series as per agency policy.
To access necessary services on behalf of callers in cases of emergency and/or situation where callers are not able to do so themselves, while respecting confidentiality.
To maintain records of all calls according to the format and guidelines set out by the Anishinabe Womens Helpline.
To maintain co-operative working relationships and participates in the general operation of the agency.
To utilize downtime in an effective manner i.e.; debriefing, grounding, reading relevant materials, and reading agency communication tools.
As required by section 72(1,2, & 3), of the Child and Family Services Act, to report all cases of suspected child abuse, or a child that is need of protection directly to the appropriate child protection agency, following the procedures established by the Anishinabe Womens Helpline.
To ensure Health and Safety compliance in the workplace by following policies, procedures and best practices and reporting any unsafe environments.
To follow confidential handling of client information as dictated by Privacy Legislation.
To constructively participate in staff meetings, seminars and training sessions as required.
To adhere to all policies and procedures and ensure adherence to program best practices.
Any other duties as requested by the Program Supervisor; commensurate with role.

Key Selection Criteria
Required:
An appropriate Bachelors Degree or College Diploma with 2 to 3 years relevant experience.
Comparable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Experience working in an Indigenous organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Specialize in one-on-one counselling
Extensive knowledge and experience in family violence issues

Ability to handle difficult situations and distance oneself from clients problems or emotions
Excellent computer and database entry skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge about sensitivity to cultural differences and various economic backgrounds

Working Conditions
Relief Helpline Crisis Workers usually work in a call center environment, but the mission of the organization may sometimes take them to non-standard workplaces. Relief Help Line Crisis Workers are to be cross trained for the Relief Resident Crisis Worker position.
Hours of work are relief, normally 8 hours per day, in a 24/7, 365 days a year work environment with occasional overtime.
Employment is subject to:
- Must provide a successful Police Criminal Records Check (PCRP) and Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC)
- Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must sign Oath of Confidentiality

This is a full time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, with an hourly wage of $52. This position requires frequent work on Saturdays, particularly from August to February time frame. Job Duties include:
- Management of production supervisors in 3 shift operation
- Manage 50-100 people
- Hands-on management to ensure that daily production requirements are met: safety, quality, environment, procedures and production output
- Develop strategies and implementation plans to improve all aspects of production, with a focus on Lean Manufacturing tools
- Review progress versus plans and key metrics

Required skills include:

- 2 years experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation or sustenance
- Detailed knowledge of powder packaging (canning, single serve pouches and bags) and powder blending built over at least 2 years experience with these equipment
- Detailed knowledge of liquid processing (including pasteurization) and packaging equipment (bottles) built over at least 2 years experience with these equipment
- Experience in training supervisors how to trouble shoot powder and liquid packaging equipment
- Knowledge of Labour Relations
- Knowledge of CIP (Clean in Place) and SIP (Sanitizing in Place) Systems
- Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Exposure to Safety, GMP, Quality, Maintenance and Productivity metrics
- Bachelor Diploma in Engineering
