At the production table, you will be responsible for all aspects of the physical construction and assembling of signs from computer cut vinyl and wide format full color printouts, which includes proofreading and conducting quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of signs. As an Installer, youll play an important role in getting the finished sign or graphic in place so everyone can see it - in the ground, on a wall, on a vehicle or hanging from a ceiling. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a startup business and be part of a customer focused manufacturing organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform the manufacturing of products in accordance with procedures and build instructions
- Set up production mixing equipment following procedures for proper mixing of chemicals.
- Prepare chemical solutions and suspensions at the production scale following procedures.
- Deliver portioned amounts of suspensions (of correct volumes) to the production team members to ensure that the production is uninterrupted.
- Conduct quality control tests to ensure that the solutions and suspensions are within the established control parameters.
- Follow established manufacturing policies and procedures in compliance with ISO quality standards
- Assist in the modification of detailed work instructions for the manufacturing and quality control test of products
- Assist engineering in the manufacturing of product prototypes.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications in accordance with procedures
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.
- Measure and record data associated with operating equipment
Requirements /Qualifications:
- Education ~ high school diploma or CeGeP with 0-1 years of experience in manufacturing, high volume manufacturing or cellular manufacturing
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, bilingual preferred
- Ability to focus and follow instructions provided by team leader and supervisor.
- Ability to discuss issues on the site with the supervisor and other team members
- Good attention to detail, the ability to multitask and strong time management skills.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Must be detail oriented and organized

ORA est la recherche d'un technicien enthousiaste et assidu pour se joindre notre quipe de production. Le technicien est responsable de l'excution des activits quotidiennes dans la fabrication. Ce poste dbutant devrait tre un rle inter fonctionnel. Ce poste offre la possibilit de dbut d'une entreprise en dmarrage et de faire partie d'une organisation de fabrication axe sur le client.
Devoirs et responsabilits:
- Raliser la fabrication des produits conformment aux procdures et aux instructions de fabrication
- Mettre en place l'quipement de mlange de production en suivant les procdures de mlange correct des produits chimiques.
- Prparer des solutions chimiques et des suspensions l'chelle de la production en suivant les procdures.
- Livrer des portions de suspensions (de volumes corrects) aux membres de l'quipe de production pour s'assurer que la production est ininterrompue.
- Effectuer des tests de contrle de la qualit pour s'assurer que les solutions et les suspensions respectent les paramtres de contrle tablis.
- Suivre les politiques et procdures de fabrication tablies conformment aux normes de qualit ISO
- Aider la modification des instructions de travail dtailles pour la fabrication et les tests de contrle de la qualit des produits
- Assister lquipe d'ingnierie dans la fabrication de prototypes de produits
- Inspecter les produits finis pour la qualit et le respect des spcifications du client conformment aux procdures
- Rsoudre les problmes lis l'quipement, aux appareils ou aux produits.
- Mesurer et enregistrer les donnes associes l'quipement d'exploitation
Exigences / Qualifications :
- ducation ~ diplme d'tudes secondaires ou Cgep avec 0 1 ans d'exprience dans la fabrication, la fabrication grand volume ou la fabrication cellulaire
- Bonnes comptences en communication crite et orale en anglais, bilingue prfr
- Capable de suivre les instructions fournies par le chef d'quipe et le superviseur.
- Capable de communiquer les problmes sur le site avec le superviseur et les autres membres de l'quipe
- Attentif aux dtails, capacit effectuer plusieurs tches la fois et solides comptences en gestion du temps.
- Dans l'exercice des fonctions de cet emploi, l'employ est rgulirement tenu de se tenir debout et de marcher. L'employ doit occasionnellement soulever et/ou dplacer jusqu' 30 livres.
