We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to join The Homestead – Transition and Support Service. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to lead and support Early Childhood Education within our trauma-informed residential care setting.

About the Position


The Program Manager will oversee a team of support staff, ensuring high standards of care for children and youth aged 0-12. This role involves active participation in the development and implementation of individualized care plans and therapeutic programs designed for children who have experienced trauma.


Key Responsibilities


  • Program Management:

    • Oversee the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum.

    • Lead and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure staff training is up-to-date, documenting and tracking accordingly.

    • Facilitate hiring, orientation, and ongoing staff training.

    • Prepare and review staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.

    • Maintain accurate staff records and address performance concerns as needed.

    • Ensure all staff adhere to policies, procedures, and relevant legislation (e.g., Protection of Persons in Care Act, Human Rights Code, company handbook).

  • Early Childhood Education Leadership:

    • Support staff in fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.

    • Monitor and document children’s progress, developmental milestones, and daily logs.

    • Collaborate with therapeutic and community programs to support individual child needs.

    • Promote positive behaviors, social interaction, and emotional well-being among children.

    • Engage with families to support child development and facilitate effective communication.

  • Safety Procedures:

    • Conduct weekly and monthly inspections to ensure the home and operations meet safety and regulatory standards (e.g., fire drills, emergency procedures, hazardous material storage).

    • Ensure all food, medications, and supplies are stored, handled, and disposed of safely.

    • Recognize and respond to concerns of abuse and neglect promptly.

  • Health Management:

    • Ensure the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs of each child are met.

    • Implement and monitor meal plans, dietary restrictions, medication administration, and infection control procedures.

    • Follow and enforce all instructions from health professionals.

  • Relationships and Community Development:

    • Promote normalization and inclusion by supporting participation in community options and nurturing positive relationships.

    • Assist in developing opportunities for children to form friendships and community connections.

    • Oversee management of petty cash and personal funds, ensuring accurate records and adherence to budget.

  • Organizational Duties:

    • Prepare, review, and maintain all required records, logs, and reports (e.g., incident reports, meeting minutes, communication logs).

    • Attend and participate in all relevant meetings and required training sessions.

    • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of work.


Qualifications


  • Post-secondary degree in psychology, sociology, human services, early childhood education, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with children and youth in a residential care setting, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.

  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder, trauma-informed care, FASD, Intellectual Disabilities, and best practices in child development.

  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification (including infant/emergency).

  • Certification in NVCI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention), Safe Talk, and safe food handling (or willingness to complete upon hire).

  • Clear criminal background check, child abuse registry check, and vulnerable sector screening.

  • Valid driver’s license, clear driver’s abstract, and access to a vehicle.

  • Above-average communication (written, oral, and verbal), organizational, and critical decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

  • Level 6 English (CLB) or equivalent.

  • Willingness to attend additional company training as required.

  • Experience and demonstrated skill in leadership, team-building, and crisis prevention.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to all project delivery and field operations teams

  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to specified quality and safety standards

  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across the organization

  • Lead and develop high-performing project teams, including Project Managers, Coordinators, and Site staff

  • Drive operational profitability through effective procurement, resource allocation, and financial management

  • Collaborate with Preconstruction, Sales, and Executive leadership on project planning and business growth

  • Oversee project financials, including conducting monthly P&L reviews and ensuring accurate reporting

  • Anticipate and mitigate project issues involving vendors, clients, consultants, and regulatory stakeholders

  • Provide mentorship and training to team members on cost control, budgeting, and project reporting tools

  • Assess staffing needs and work with HR to recruit and onboard top industry talent

  • Participate in annual business planning, strategic decision-making, and corporate goal setting

  • Represent the company on key projects, acting as the executive liaison to clients and consultants

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of experience in ICI construction project delivery, including large-scale greenfield and brownfield projects

  • Proven leadership in managing multi-million dollar projects in the $280M range

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L ownership, forecasting, and cost control

  • Deep knowledge of Canadian building codes and regulatory standards

  • Expertise in project scheduling, procurement, constructability, and field operations

  • Proficiency with industry software such as CMiC, Procore, and MS Project

  • PMP certification is preferred; other construction or engineering designations are assets

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills

  • A strong network of ICI trades, vendors, and project professionals within the GTA

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience delivering end to end projects (ideally in the ERP sector) for medium to large clients. Previous hands-on experience in ERP implementations will be considered an advantage;
  • Professional accreditation in a recognized project delivery methodology such as Scrum Master Certification, Prince 2 or PMI. Candidates who completed such certification training will also be considered;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Proven experience in delivering projects applying Agile Methodologies and excellent knowledge on DevOps;
  • Strong time management, team facilitation, stakeholder management and organisational skills;
  • Ability to influence and motivate others;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Responsibilities

This position calls for an organised and pragmatic individual who will be managing client implementations and assisting in pre-sales activities. The Project Manager will also be:

  • Determining the implementation method to be used on the project;
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting on project progress;
  • Preparing project communication plans;
  • Preparing and managing risk and quality management plans;
  • Managing the projects constraints, including scope, time, budget, quality, risk, and resources;
  • Providing status reports to executive sponsors and other stakeholders as required;
  • Leading the project team and handling HR related issues.
  • The employee is required to follow our client’s Information Security Policies (ISP and ISMP) at all times.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled technical Project Manager to join the client service team. On one hand this is a client-facing service delivery manger role. The ideal candidate will be managing all client communications and driving overall delivery schedule, be responsible for designing and implementing innovative integration solutions that meet our client's technical and business requirements. This role involves working closely with clients, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. On another hand, this is a technical delivery role. The candidate will be responsible for driving and managing all engineering threads in order to deliver the project, and conduct technical hands-on work as needed. This is also a technical hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive client communications throughout the entire delivery, align different client stakeholders, ensure project is delivered successfully without delay.
  • Work closely with clients, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Understand the client's product and business logic to recommend the best solution that addresses specific client needs. Provide strong solutioning and consulting services.
  • Take the project management role to ensure the client onboarding project runs as expected and under control.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the implementation and deployment phases, to integrate with the client systems.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and technologies into existing systems.
  • Stay updated on financial services industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our solutions and offerings.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of proposed solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a technical Project Manager or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and integration principles. Strong solutioning skills on Saas platform data integration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and consultant/client management capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Knowing auti-fraud in the Financial or internet industry will be a plus.
  • Experience in real-time computing, big data, or machine learning will be a plus.
