POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Publishing Coordinator, the Desktop Publishing Operator will perform the design, creation and output of all desktop publishing services requested. Supply guidance and training to junior publishing staff. Perform administrative tasks required for proper material purchase, output, receipt and delivery of manual deliverables.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and manage Desktop Publishing (DTP) templates for all required manuals and departmental documents.
  • Perform typesetting or DTP duties as required by manual production schedule.
  • Provide training and assistance to other Desktop Publishing staff.
  • Work with other departmental staff, as required, for the development of any new document projects.
  • Ensure that Desktop Publishing procedures are established and maintained.
  • Ensure established publishing standards departmental styles are followed by performing quality control checks on other DPO staff work as required.
  • Perform administrative support tasks such as document preparation, material shipping, tracking, and receipt and delivery activities.
  • Maintain accurate files of contract deliverable items such as distribution summary, OEM supplier manual purchase and output status, customer correspondence and all records retention documents.
  • Perform purchasing duties for department and maintain accurate files of purchases for all office supplies and manual building materials. In addition, monthly expense reports are to be reviewed for accuracy or changes as required.
  • Perform final output and assembly of publishing projects.
  • Compile and/or review and edit weekly timesheet reports.
  • Ensure supply room, production room, shipping deck, contract file cabinets are kept in a neat and well-organized fashion.
  • Perform effectively and in a cooperative manner as a member within the team.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Certification in Desktop Publishing from a recognized Training program/institute or combination of education and experience.
  • 3 -5 years’ experience creating various types of manuals in a Technical Publishing organization using Adobe FrameMaker. Preferably in a manufacturing publishing environment.
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in purchasing materials and maintaining associated documentation.
  • Excellent team player who can effectively communicate and work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent document design skills with expert working knowledge of publishing software such as Adobe FrameMaker.
  • Excellent computer knowledge of MS Office, Window network with very strong organizational and file management skills.
  • Knowledge of XML publishing tools and single source publishing technologies would be an asset.
  • Experience with using Oracle would be an asset.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Publishing and Document Support role involves performing administrative services for the Publications teams including the assembly, purchasing, order tracking, shipping and receiving of publications products, and data entry for monthly accounting reports.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Prepare shipping documentation and prepare shipment of all Publication’s projects, and effectively track projects for proper delivery.
  • Prepare customer correspondence including shipping letters and delivery notifications.
  • Perform purchasing duties for department by preparing and administering purchase orders, maintain PO reporting, invoice reconciliation and reporting discrepancies on departmental purchases and allocations.
  • Communicate effectively in writing or verbally with internal and external clients i.e. notice of distribution, receipt confirmation and complaints resolution.
  • Assist with all contract administration, customer correspondence, financial reporting, departmental administration and record keeping when requested or as determined by Director.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of materials, supplies and documents.
  • Ensure supply, production and shipping areas, as well as filing cabinets are kept neat and organized.
  • Accurately compile and process department timesheets and update time record spreadsheet correcting any timecard discrepancies.
  • Perform all desktop publishing duties when required.

Requirements

  • Certification/diploma from recognized business administration school/or combination of related courses completed and working experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working in a desktop publishing office environment or relevant experience is preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of word processing applications and processes.
  • Experience working with purchasers to create POs and with suppliers on placing and tracking orders.
  • Basic accounting including invoice approval and tracking processes.
  • Strong organizational and file management skills.
  • Team player who is personable and at the same time capable of working on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Good phone and email communication skills.
  • Word processing software such as MS Office Suite.
  • Spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and file management skills for electronic and hardcopy documents.

The Content Creation Technology Group (CCTG) is looking for a Senior AI/ML Programmer who will contribute to the development of applications in the domains of Generative AI and ML bots. The Senior AI/ML Programmer role will bring best practices and design principles to assist the team in delivering our ambitious features roadmap. 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Provide and support ML systems based on business requirements and objectives. 

  • Establish technical designs to meet game’s needs. 

  • Collaborate with the data science team, specialized programmers (gameplay, AI, etc.), the research team, and other stakeholders such as productions.  

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain inference engines, libraries, and ML frameworks. 

  • Leverage best hardware (NPU, GPU, CPU) to accelerate ML related computations 

  • Develop systems that allow Gameplay programmers and Data scientist to easily track relevant data to train models 

  • Develop systems to benchmark, evaluate and optimize model’s performance  

  • Program in a clear and structured manner that is in keeping with performance, maintenance, modularity, scalability and compatibility requirements 

  • Integrate and maintain ML systems in game engines and games. 

  • Write unit tests and integration tests 

Other responsibilities: 

  • Creating proof of concepts, that can require model training, fine tuning, experimenting with different techniques and models. 

  • Suggest improvements whenever necessary by designing and implementing new systems or enhancing existing ones 

  • Conducting research to stay up to date with the latest advancements. 

  • Documentation, presentations, and knowledge sharing to communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical collaborators. 

Qualifications

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent. Master in Machine Learning is an asset. 

Relevant Experience: 

Minimum 5 years’ experience in AI/ML. 

Core Skills: 

  • In-depth knowledge of C++ required 

  • Strong Architecture skills 

  • A good hardware knowledge, to take advantage of multithreading, and optimize memory management. 

Other Skills:
