**POSITION SUMMARY**

The QC Administrator provides support for the implementation and enforcement of quality control and assurance systems and policies throughout Strike. Responsibilities include managing and distributing control manuals and procedure system information across all business units, scheduling and coordinating internal and external audits, and maintaining all databases and records within the quality control and assurance jurisdiction.

- Project Name: Mount Bracey Compressor Station
- Nearest City: Prince George, B.C (Camp Project)
- Shift: 14 Days on/7 Days off
- Travel pay: $400/shift
- Camp retention: $25/day

**CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES**

- Assist with ongoing management of quality systems, processes, and procedures
- Maintain internal documentation and systems to ensure that established quality and process procedures are followed at all times
- Distribute approved process and quality control documents to appropriate personnel
- Act as point of contact for document quality issues and provide support and solutions regarding quality issues
- Maintain audit and training databases, and ensure they all related records are up to date

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES**

**Required**

- Good understanding of Excel and an ability to be accurate on entry
- Bluebeam experience
- Document markups
- Layering on Bluebeam
- Understanding of OCR and making documents searchable

**POSITION SUMMARY**

The **QC Coordinator** will be responsible for the execution of assigned QC activities on the project site.

**POSITION DETAILS**

- Project is located in the Brooks area
- Project duration is expected to be 2 months (subject to change)

**CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES**

- Ensure the implementation of QC requirements at the job site
- Perform pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are in conformance with the applicable standards, drawings and specifications;
- Conduct interim and final inspections with owner’s representative per inspection and testing procedures (I&TP.)
- Create Hydrotest packages and witness all testing activities
- Review Radiographic film
- Continually monitor work in-progress to ensure compliance with QC and other project requirements
- Act as an accessible resource on QC issues
- Coordinate Quality team member activities in conjunction with construction activities; and
- Prepare required documentation and maintain files for final turnover to the client

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**

- Level 1 or 2 CWB certification required
- Relevant technical diploma and/or trade certificate

**Knowledge & Skills**

- Must have the ability to pass an Alcohol & Drug test
- Strong client relations skills
- Exemplary professional verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous record-keeping skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Advanced computer skills – MS Office, Adobe Pro/Blue Beam, etc.
- Capable of working independently with minimal direction

**Safety Tickets Required**

- CSTS 2020 or Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
- Bear or Wildlife Awareness course
- Standard First Aid CPR-C & AED (St. John Ambulance or Canadian Red Cross) or WorkSafe BC Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA 1) Training Certificate
- WHIMIS 2015 (Strike can provide when onboarding)

**Reports to:** Quality Control Leader

**Responsibilities**

* Tests products at specified stages in the production process and records test data, applying quality control procedures and accurately documenting the results of the inspections and testing.
* Responsible for monitoring the quality control of raw materials, product-in-process and finished product run during the shift.
* Responsible for the full compliance of specific standards for product quality by ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and accurately.
* Directly communicate with production leads, maintenance, and distribution departments to ensure smooth flow of shift.
* Collection of microbiological samples of raw materials and finished product for testing and analysis, incubation, SAS, and retained sample checks.
* Ensure samples, equipment, and any required chemicals are handled properly to avoid contamination.
* Carry out other activities needed essential to the effective operation of quality control department.
* Bulk receiving of raw materials.
* Perform routine cleaning and calibration of laboratory instruments.
* Perform work in safe and efficient manner.

**Profile**

* Post-secondary education in Quality Control or related field
* 1+ year QC experience is required, preferably in a low acid beverage manufacturing industry
* Working experience with HPLC and HACCP is required
* Excellent analytical laboratory skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment
* Ability to evaluate production data (i.e. variances, efficiencies)
* Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Suite of Applications), and instructional software

Reporting to the Director, Central Operations, this position is responsible for building, maintaining and implementing corporate quality assurance and quality control programs across the organization and is accountable for the associated plans, policies, standards and procedures. The QA/QC Manager will proactively pursue new approaches and provide innovation to ensure Arctic Arrow employees, contractors, and customers remain quality leader in the powerline industry as well as liaise with Clients, Owners, and Regulatory organizations on behalf of the company on the subject of Quality Management. Maintain an effective online platform to centralize the QA/QC documents for field-level use and submissions.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Leadership & Oversight

Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control policies, procedures, and programs

Oversee inspection, testing, and verification activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards

Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues and ensure alignment with requirements

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality performance across the organization.

Liaise with clients, auditors, and third-party inspectors as required

2. QA/QC Programs

Enhance and implement corporate QA/QC standards, programs, and procedures

Ensure, through a risk-based approach, that QA/QC requirements are consistently applied across all projects and operations

Monitor and respond to changes in industry standards, codes, and client expectations

Facilitate regular and consistent quality meetings across regions and develop supporting materials as required

3. Administration

Develop and execute project-specific QA/QC plans and inspection/test plans

Ensure timely completion of QA/QC orientations and competency evaluations

Maintain QA/QC committees or working groups, assigning roles and providing ongoing support

Monitor quality performance results through client platforms and company systems

Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA/QC documentation in central databases

Communicate quality updates through bulletins, reports, lessons learned, monthly statistics, and improvement initiatives

Support estimating and business development by ensuring QA/QC requirements are accurately reflected in bids, proposals, and marketing materials

4. Training & Inspection

Ensure all employees and supervisors are provided training to assist in the management and understanding of QA/QC programs, policies, procedures, and standards

Work collaboratively with Supervisors to ensure employees are continuously trained in appropriate QA/QC processes

Reviews non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action reports to ensure they are detailed, complete, and accurate

Ensures all quality documentation, certifications, and inspection records are managed according to applicable codes, client requirements, and corporate standards

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Technology Construction Management, or a related discipline considered an asset

Minimum 7–10 years of progressive QA/QC experience, preferably in construction, energy, or industrial sectors

Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and auditing practices

Proven ability to lead investigations, audits, and root cause analyses

Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Experience working with client QA/QC platforms and reporting systems

**Profile:**

- University degree or College diploma in Quality Control or related field

Responsabilités principales :

• Diagnostiquer et réparer les chariots élévateurs et l’équipement de manutention (électriques, au propane, et diesel).

• Effectuer l’entretien préventif, les inspections et le dépannage des systèmes.

• Identifier et corriger les problèmes mécaniques et électriques.

• Communiquer avec les clients sur les travaux effectués et l’état de l’équipement.
