The purpose of this Chair is to support the work of emerging researchers, and to support the development of quantum engineering, identified as an important emerging field in ETS's Strategic Research Plan.
MEIE Research Chair in Quantum ComputingThis seven-year Research Chair is worth $100,000 per year, and contributes to the full funding of the Chairholder's research work.
The incumbent must have demonstrated significant research potential, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary research teams and with industry.
