Key Responsibilities
- Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Match shipment contents to purchase orders and packing slips
- Document and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate departments

What you will do:
- Verify incoming daily parts shipments from General Motors & other suppliers vendor packing slips to ensure proper items and quantities are received and if needed record and report any damaged parts. Bar code scanner in place for receiving.
- Identify which parts are inter-company transfers, wholesale deliveries or regular stock.
- Tag special orders and move them to proper bin locations
- Locate all parts for stock to proper bin locations and ensure all have proper shelving labeling
- Pick and stage parts from multiple daily stock order transfers between multiple Myers GM locations, communicate with Parts Manager and other location Managers via email of damaged parts, shortages or larger vehicle required for pick up during bulk buys and larger items.
- Maintain a clean and organized used parts core room with semiweekly review and returns
- Assist in process with Parts manager to create and submit daily, weekly and monthly returns for CSO special order bin clean up and monthly planned returns.
- Replenish stock from overstock to bin locations
- Forklift training will be provided, unload and load trucks with forklift, also responsible for daily forklift walk around inspection forms
- Complete all required GM training and internal safety training
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe shipping and receiving area
- Assist with General Motors warranty bin clean up when required as part of weekly process.
· From time-to-time shipper/receiver may be required to fill in for absent parts delivery drivers
