The Senior Reconciliation Analyst will play a dual role: ensuring daily reconciliation accuracy and applying modern technology (including platforms like DUCO, automation tools, and data analytics) to optimize workflows and control processes. You’ll be part of a small but highly collaborative team responsible for cash and asset reconciliation while also supporting the design and implementation of our next-generation reconciliation platform and Target Operating Model (TOM).
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Core Reconciliation Duties
- Perform daily cash and asset reconciliations, aligning our book of records with banks, custodians, depositories (e.g., CDS/DTC), and counterparties.
- Investigate, resolve, and escalate reconciliation breaks to minimize risk and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze exception trends, working proactively with internal and external stakeholders to address root causes.
- Build and maintain reconciliation workflows using DUCO.
Platform & Process Enhancement
- Support the implementation and testing of a new reconciliation platform.
- Participate in the rollout of a new Target Operating Model (TOM), defining roles, responsibilities, and control checkpoints.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and control.
Reporting & Metrics
- Help prepare reconciliation dashboards and KPIs for management reporting.
- Track performance metrics, exception volumes, and root-cause resolutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 3–6 years of experience in reconciliations, financial operations, or data analytics in a financial services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science
- Hands-on experience using DUCO or similar reconciliation platforms (highly preferred).
- Experience with financial data tools and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R).
- Exposure to depository systems like CDS/DTC, or trade lifecycle tools (e.g., FIX,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), with VBA an asset.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks or robotic process automation (RPA) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Adaptable to change and excited by technology-driven transformation.

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Reconciliation Data Analyst to join our Operational Integrity team. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on executing daily reconciliations, resolving transactional discrepancies across systems, and implementing new or improving existing processes. You will work with internal tools to ensure that transactions across internal and external systems reconcile correctly.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of analytical skills, technical knowledge, and accounting/financial awareness. You’ll dive into large, detailed transaction sets, identify mismatches, and trace them across multiple systems. You’ll also support improvements in reconciliation processes, documentation, and monitoring, strengthening trust in Reach’s data quality and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use internal reconciliation tools to perform daily and month-end reconciliations between internal and external systems.
- Investigate mismatches and anomalies, tracing transactions through multiple data sources and system integrations.
- Perform deep-dive data analysis into large-scale, detailed financial transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data used in financial reconciliations, settlements, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams to resolve reconciliation issues.
- Monitor data flows and system integrity to ensure money movement is correctly captured across all systems.
- Assist in the development of documentation, processes, and playbooks to standardize reconciliation workflows.
- Translate technical issues into business-friendly explanations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Recommend and help implement preventative and corrective measures to strengthen reconciliation processes.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a related technical/analytical field (Computer Science, Data Statistics, Mathematics)
- Experience in financial reconciliations (journal entries, settlements, payment flows, or tax filing).
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
- Continuous improvement mindset taking initiative to research and adapt new technologies and methodologies
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to trace issues across complex systems
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
- Strong sense of ownership
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
Additional Assets:
- SQL knowledge and practical experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with Simetrik or similar reconciliation tools.
- Familiarity with VAT and tax settlement processes.
- Experience with technical writing such that complex data considerations can be expressed clearly in writing or data modeling and data diagrams (ERD, dataflow, definitions)
- Practical experience with Snowflake on AWS
- Work experience in a technology startup or fintech, ecommerce, or payments environment
- Experience working with the Atlassian suite of tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI and Sigma

We are seeking a Deductions & Payment Reconciliation Analyst to join our Finance and Customer Service teams on a contract basis. This role plays a key part in managing customer deductions, reconciling payments, and driving timely dispute resolution. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. While this position begins as a contract role, there is strong potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Deduction Management
Investigate and validate customer deductions.
Review supporting documentation to determine legitimacy.
Create credit notes for approved deductions within the ERP system.
Dispute invalid deductions and follow up through resolution.
Payment Reconciliation
Prepare clear, accurate reconciliation reports.
Match payments, credits, and deductions to ensure balanced accounts.
Historical Deductions Review
Review prior-year (2024) deductions to identify and resolve outstanding disputes.
- Track unresolved items and ensure timely closure.
Promotion & Program Tracking
Monitor deductions related to promotions, spoilage, merchandising, and trade programs.
- Verify alignment with contractual agreements and internal approvals.
- Maintain monthly reports on deduction categories and resolution status
- Identify root causes, trends, and process improvement opportunities
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with Finance, Customer Service, and Sales teams to investigate disputes.
Ensure consistent alignment on deduction handling and resolution strategies.
Qualifications
Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or Deductions Management.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle.
Strong Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage customer relationships.
