Applicants must have experience driving 26ft trucks with a G license and a clean abstract.

Shift timings: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday)

Who you are:

• 6 months of truck driving experience with a clean abstract 
• 6 months of commercial moving experience
• Punctual and reliable
• You have an excellent understanding of technology and are proficient on a smartphone/tablet

Ideal hire’s roles/responsibilities:

• Perform a number of customer deliveries/pick-ups
• Assist with loading/unloading of items delivered to client/warehouse.
• Complete pre and post-trip inspections of company vehicles and safely operate equipment
• Maintain Second Closet's assets and property (facilities, vehicles, tools, and equipment)
• Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate fashion, to be submitted promptly to Operations Manager

Job Description

Medical Gas Driver / Operator – D License 
Location: GasPro - London Ontario 
Full-time Permanent Position:  37.5hrs/week (Monday – Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm with some flexibility)
Salaried starting at $25/hr  + benefits + pension + 3 weeks paid vacation 

Your D License is required to be considered for this role. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient preparation and distribution of Oxygen cylinders on dedicated day runs. This role will load, deliver, and unload product to our ProResp office locations primarily around Southwestern Ontario. You will also occasionally be assisting team members to prepare and fill oxygen cylinders within our fill plant for distribution.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient supply distribution of Oxygen cylinders.
• Dedicated day runs of Oxygen cylinders throughout Southwestern Ontario. 
• Maintain accurate and timely records of products and distribution.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform inventory control of products.
• Conduct required safety checks and ensure maintenance of company vehicle in accordance with established corporate practices.
• On occasion help to process, fill, and maintain equipment in the process of filling oxygen cylinders of various size and weight.
• Must adhere to the regulations regarding the handling, offering for transport and transporting of dangerous goods and maintains a valid TDG certificate as provided by the company.

Role Requirements:

• Valid D Driver's License with satisfactory driving record. Candidates under 25 years of age, and/or with less than 3 years with full class license driving experience, will be required to provide Driver’s License History and Driver Experience Letter in order to meet insurance requirements.
• Proven ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment, i.e., lifting up to 60 lbs on a regular basis, pushing and manipulating weights up to 100lbs. The nature of this role requires that you successfully complete a pre-placement Functional Assessment test as a condition of employment to ensure that you can meet these essential duties of the role.

Education:  Secondary school graduate at minimum.
