Grant Management Specialist
Position Summary
Reporting to the Team Lead, Grant Management, this position is responsible for coordinating the administration of research grant applications and awards from the point of submission through completion of the project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration
Maintain a highstandard and exceptional client focus throughout theapplication and grant award administrationlifecycle of all projectsby:
- Reviewingand loggingall required documentationandensuring thatinformationis provided to confirm the eligibility of the grant through to completion
- Setting up invoicing for partner contributions and coordinatingtimelyprocessing with the Finance department
- Managing project changes and revised proposals to ensure eligibility of changes upon request by clients/external stakeholders
- Preparingand reviewingaward letters, revising/ authorizingaward letters, processingproject change request and cancellation letters.

- Followingup with participants to name interns to units, enforcingstart and end date policies and respondingto questions from project participants.

The Technical Specialist, Project Management, provides project management services to support the delivery of routine to moderately complex infrastructure and environmental projects. The incumbent acts as a technical specialist for the Client-Partners and may undertake research and conducts studies and assessments.
**KEY AND PERIODIC ACTIVITIES**
