**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Amrize is looking for a **Journeyman Millwright** for our Exshaw AB Cement Plant. Millwrights are responsible for ensuring both breakdowns and planned maintenance on a variety of equipment and are completed in an efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly way.
This position is offered as a **12-month** maternity leave coverage contract with a possibility of extension.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ The ability to troubleshoot problems.
+ The ability to inspect and test equipment and make appropriate decisions.
+ The ability to operate light mobile equipment, motorized manlifts and overhead cranes.
+ Must be competent in PPW, to be able to add comments at the end of shift.
+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Education Required:** High School Diploma or equivalent
**Required Work Experience:** Experience working with large industrial equipment.
**Required Training/Certifications:** Hold a valid Millwright Journeyman Red Seal ticket.
**Additional Requirements:**
+ Own and maintain a complete set of hand tools, as required by the trade.
+ Have basic computer skills.
+ Be competent operating a motor vehicle.
+ The capacity to work as part of a team and work independently.
+ Reliability and dependability
+ Successfully passing, physical, d&A and criminal background check is mandatory
+ The capacity to work in the Millwright environment. (Confined space, working at heights, working in extreme environments - heat, cold dust etc.
+ Shift work as required
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

**I. Job Summary**
The Account Executive I is responsible for proactive maintenance and revenue growth of current WM customers within a book-of-business, ensuring that all assigned customers have signed service agreements, in initial term and on file.
This is an 18-Month Maternity Leave Contract
**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Increase account penetration with strategic product sales
+ Communicate proactively with all customers quarterly, to strengthen and expand relationships
+ Persuade current customers to sign written agreements by providing ongoing education of contract details and use of strong negotiation skills
+ Update and renew customer service agreements
+ Resolve service escalations within the defined territory

The Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Centre is currently welcoming a full-time, Ophthalmology Register Veterinary Technologist to join our very busy service.
The C.A.R.E. Centre is a fully functioning referral hospital, with board certified specialists in a wide range of referral services including: internal medicine, critical care, surgery, radiology, oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, cardiology, dermatology, emergency and dentistry/oral surgery. The C.A.R.E Centre is committed to supporting pet owners and the veterinary community by providing the highest level of animal emergency and referral care.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be compassionate with the ability to adapt to the needs of their clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work well within a highly functioning team. There is a very significant portion of client communication including getting updates, booking all appointment, admitting/discharging for surgery and answering all messages. Anesthesia with mechanical ventilator and paralytic medication is common practice and will need to be performed almost daily. Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to): starting appointments, performing ERG and IOP's, collection and running of blood samples, as well as maintaining timely and accurate patient records.
**Schedule:** The schedule for this position will be a 4 x10.5 hour shift over the Tuesday- Friday period. Additional after-hours anesthesia duties are required. Applicants must be registered with AHT and be eligible for registration with AAAHT/ABVMA in Alberta. ABVMA registration must be complete by the first day of employment.

· Ensure safe and legal usage and storage and documentation of all medications available in the first aid room. Have Collected data and obtained records about workplace injuries through comprehensive health assessments
· Assessed employees and performed medical examinations when injured confidentially and professionally.
· Provided first aid, over-the-counter medications, and immunizations (tetanus boosters, flu clinic, etc.) as needed
· Educated employers and employees on how to prevent accidents and injuries and how to provide basic first aid
· Provided case management of injuries via telehealth for workers not on site and scheduled follow-ups, as needed, on-site or through telehealth
· Worked with safety personnel to safeguard workers through participating in safety walks and through the development, implementation, and evaluation of safety policy and procedures to ensure compliance of legislative requirements
· Provided employee and employer with return-to-work assessments and modified work offers to ensure appropriate accommodations are provided for safe and gradual return to work
· Have a clear understanding of the OHSA Regulations as presented in the 'Rainbow Chart'
· Liaised between management, occupational health physician, safety team, claims team, human resources, and other health specialties (internal and external resources) for the best plan of care for the employee and their well-being
· Conducted follow-up appointments and adjusted treatment plan according to employee's health status
· Complete point-of-care testing for post-incident and reasonable suspicion A&D testing
**Qualifications**
+ Must currently be an occupational nurse, registered nurse, or nurse practitioner
+ Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, critical care experience preferred
+ Ability to work and be onsite approximately 8-10 hours/day
+ Valid CPR, ACLS, BTLS/PHTLS, audit ATLS
+ Case management experience preferred
+ Strong computer skills

Position Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of an interdisciplinary team that provides medical care, recovery therapies and programs, and everyday care and support to clients in Detox and addictions residential treatment. The LPN/RN provides nursing care to clients, administers medications in accordance with organizational and pharmaceutical policies and procedures, and provides support to the Nursing Team and Physician as directed. The LPN/RN supports its clients in recovery in a myriad of practical and therapeutic ways including: supporting recovery strategies, assisting with client needs, listening empathetically, and more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical nursing assessments during the patient intake and discharge process as per facility policies and procedures.
Gathering of medical /mental health / substance use history
Collection of urine for substance screening, HCG testing or urinalysis
Administration of breathalyzer test
Provide nursing care and interventions, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration for patients during medically supervised detox process as per facility protocols utilizing withdrawal assessment tools including CIWA-AR, CIWA-B and COWS.
Provide nursing care, interventions, and monitoring of acute or chronic conditions, administer scheduled and PRN medications as per facility to CORE Programming patients.
Perform First Aid; respond to acute emergent situations and administration of emergency medications as required, such as epinephrine or naloxone, as per facility standing orders and protocols.
Document nursing assessments, nursing care, behaviors and related progress in KIPU electronic medical record system.
Communicate with physician regarding acute medical concerns, medication orders, detox protocols, patient progress, medical services required and discharge prescriptions.
Schedule, coordinate and document physician and Lab appointments.
Weekly medication and medical supply order.
Collaborate with Physician, Clinical Counselors, Aftercare and Admissions Coordinators, Support Staff, and the Administrative Team via telephone, email, Microsoft Teams, KIPU documentation and in-person meetings to maintain continuity of care.
Administrative tasks such as creating patient identification labels, updating / photocopying /printing forms or documents using Microsoft Office.
Participate in quality assurance programs, assist in establishment and updating of policy and procedures, preparation of reports as needed.
General cleaning / sanitizing of patient rooms after discharge. Typical tasks include items such as cleaning / sanitizing of high touch surfaces, bedside tables, bedmaking and providing clean linens.
General cleaning / sanitization of the patient lounge, Nursing office, bathroom and medication administration area.

Experience and Qualifications:

Valid and Current RN/LPN License with the College of Nurses of British Columbia
Trauma informed training/experience an asset.
Must be able to read and write and communicate verbally and in writing.
Must be able to understand and follow directions.
Must have good hearing and eyesight.
Valid First Aid/CPR Level C.
Clear Criminal record check through the Ministry of Justice.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License in good standing
