We are currently engaged in exciting, transformative projects in the GTA with major clients including Metrolinx and the TTC. Your work will contribute directly to the success of these, and other projects. When you’re not engaged in design work, technical review and evaluation, and project management, you’ll serve as a main point of contact for our clients. A large part of your role will be to serve as a representative of our company, build our business, and win new projects. Your big-picture understanding of our business, and ability to build strong client relationships based on trust and mutual benefit will be critical. You will: * Perform engineering design tasks for roadway and highway projects from preliminary to final design. * Perform geometric design and 3D modeling, develop alignment plans, profiles, cross-sections, super-elevation and grading design and construction staging. * Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare permit documents and construction bid packages. * Establish working relationships and contact with client technical staff and project managers. * Provide engineering design services for traditional design-bid-build projects and design-build road and highway projects. * Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing their skills and project deliverables * Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subconsultants, and client managers. * Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance. * Identify schedule and cost variances and develop and implement recommendations for corrective action. * Participate in projects by completing tasks within schedule and budget with teams comprised of different disciplines. Position Summary
The Civil Engineering Technologist supports the design and coordination of land and site development projects within our industrial portfolio. Working closely with senior team members, this role assists in preparing designs, conducting site assessments, and helping ensure project approvals and construction progress smoothly.

- 5+ years of relevant experience in design for public and/or private clients
- Canadian College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field
