ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Receive repair orders from dispatch tower/Service Advisor and perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts. Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
  • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Advise Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
  • Inform dispatcher when the job is started, finished, or interrupted. Be particularly attentive to repair orders on vehicles marked RUSH or CUSTOMER WAITING.
  • Complete and maintain documentation of work performed.
  • Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed.
  • Supervise the work of any apprentice technicians as assigned to you by management.
  • Attend factory-sponsored training classes. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
  • Ensure that customers cars are kept clean.
  • Keep the shop area neat, clean, and free of safety hazards.
  • Comply with Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations, such as those governing the disposal ofhazardous wastes
  • Assist in creating quotes for additional work required.
  • Keep up to date on online training as required
  • Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to aManager/Supervisor.
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


  • Must be a fully licensed Technician.
  • Working knowledge of automotive equipment
  • Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in order to maintain optimal customer satisfaction.
  • A highly self-motivated and organized individual.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively work with other members of the Service Department team.
  • Must be committed to consistently delivering high-quality work.

ROLE &RESPONSIBILITIES:

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for performing vehicle preventative maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles. Specifically:

  • diagnose and identify vehicle repair and/or malfunction
  • perform the vehicle repair or maintenance efficiently and accurately, based on the company and manufacturer guidelines and standards
  • inspect vehicle engine in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults

  • adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance, including:

  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician (BRAND?)
  • Post Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience
  • 310S Mechanic License in good standing

About the opportunity…

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • To champion OpenRoads Climate Goals.
  • Completing all documentations for sold vehicles in the dealership.
  • Maintaining and completing internal and supplier reports.
  • Coordinating sold vehicle preparation including accessories, chemical packages, and deliver clean ups.
  • Ensuring vehicle deliveries are scheduled in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
  • Responding to guest and client inquiries in person and on the telephone.
  • Finalizing all sold vehicle documentation.
  • Must follow Company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to General Manager.
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

MCF produces value-added products including marinated, portioned, multi-pack options, kebabs and much more from primarily beef primals but also other species in conjunction with adherence to grading, HALAL, Organic requirements / certifications. **JOB DESCRIPTION**
+ perform all activities associated under the scope of the FSQA (Food Safety Quality Assurance) programs - such as monitoring and verification of employee GMPs, environmental and product temperatures, product quality to meet designed specifications during the portioning and packaging process, label production and verification including the adherence to final product individual package and case specifications, Critical Control Points, Control Points
+ monitoring and verification of plant sanitation performance during operations and prior to startup each day
+ self starter, ability to work with limited direction
+ aseptically gather required samples for environmental, sanitation, WIP (work in progress) and finished products for internal and external lab testing for microbiological testing; includes correct preparation of COC (chains of custody) for these samples sent externally
+ work as a partner with production to understand scheduling, product needed to be made, product specifications as WIP and finished product and segregation requirements such as HALAL, Organic, Species and Graded products
+ utilize the document-free monitoring hardware and software, as well as paper documents for recording monitoring, verification and other tasks
+ utilize email as a tool for information transfer as needed and as part of the MCF team
+ training employees as needed on programs and procedures related to FSQA and Operations SOPs
+ FSQA equipment management such as thermometers and scales
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ excellent written & verbal command of English
+ post secondary program graduate in food sciences or related fields applicable to a food processing environment
+ preferred 3-5 years' FSQA programs experience
+ computer literacy, ideally with MS Office (Word and Excel)
+ strong interpersonal, communication, leadership skills and the ability to work in a team and independently
+ capacity to multitask in time sensitive situations in a fast-paced production environment
