What Were Looking For
As a Sales Development Representative at Enkel, you will play a pivotal role in our growth by identifying and qualifying potential clients. Youll be the first point of contact for many of our prospects, sparking interest and setting the stage for meaningful conversations about how Enkel can help them simplify their back-office operations.
Please note: This is a full-time, in-office role based at our downtown Vancouver location.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social media to generate qualified leads.
- Research and identify ideal customer profiles (ICPs) in target markets.
- Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls for the Sales team.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop targeted outreach strategies.
- Maintain and update CRM data (HubSpot) with accurate prospect information and activity tracking.
- Achieve or exceed weekly/monthly KPIs around outreach, meetings booked, and lead conversion.
- Continuously improve outreach messaging and contribute to team sales strategy discussions.

- 1+ years of experience in a sales or lead generation role (B2B SaaS or services is a bonus).

About the role
We have a lot of incoming sales inquiries, including active trial prospects, and we're looking for high energy and dynamic Sales Development Representatives that can handle both inbound and (over time) outbound activities. The ideal candidates would possess strong communication in English and have the ability to talk to anyone worldwide using email, phone or video, follow up on inbound leads, quickly assess business needs and present the best solutions, and close sales. The SDR is responsible for the entire sales cycle.
The role is full-time and time zones include both European and US time zones.
Goals for the Sales Development Representative
- Become an expert at using lead generation tools to generate lists of target prospect accounts
- Prospect existing freemium accounts with relevant, human touches
- Qualify prospects based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted and relevant questions, responsible to nurture these prospects and understand their needs prior to an initial sales meeting
- Schedule discovery calls for our Customer Success Team (CST), meeting or exceeding qualified discovery calls attended quota every month
- Be proficient at using a sales development platform to execute the outreach process consisting of phone, email, and social touches
- Strive to continuously improve your sales development process and demonstrate a willingness to learn, implement and share best practices
- Efficiently and gracefully counter top of the funnel objections over phone and email, as well as have excellent interpersonal & technical skills
- Work closely with Marketing and Account Executives to develop and implement account communication plans
- Coordinate demos on sales engineer calendar and log activities
- Conduct thorough research and mine the existing database for contacts to be called monthly

- Proven sales experience in a similar role with a good track record
- Mine the existing database of current, former and possible clients
- Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin the sales cycle
- Contacting leads and qualifying them as prospects, nurture relationships by educating them about the products and close sales
- Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email
- Work closely with the marketing department on the strategy of generating leads and sales
- Utilize sales and log in activities that pertain to leads being pursued

- Proven sales experience in a similar role with a good track record
- 2 years of experience in telemarketing, preferably in IT Enterprise Software
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed team
- Strong and professional communication skills, written and verbal in English, coupled with great listening skills
