Position Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating business for the hotel by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential partners. The role involves prospecting, selling, negotiating, and closing business to maximize revenue through room sales, meeting space, and other hotel services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, solicit, and secure new business opportunities in assigned market segments (corporate, group, leisure, etc.).
- Nurturing and growing client relationships through upselling and proactive customer service, including sales calls, entertainment and FAM trips.
- Planning, organizing and managing sales aspects of events and room blocks from conception including contract negotiations, contract composition, profitability, site visits and re-solicitation.
- Identifying and acting on business opportunities through a constant pursuit of knowledge about market trends, competition and customers.
- Overseeing the sales efforts for the hotel: leading by example and mentoring team members to effectively implement smart strategies.
- Must be able to communicate accurately and effectively in verbal and written form with guests and associates

- Working to continuously improve customer service by integrating obtained feedback and personal judgment into action plans
- Acting as a strategic business partner internally to maximize profits and externally to ensure client objectives are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years' experience for a Full Service/Luxury hotel with Group and Entertainment market knowledge
- Marriott brand experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with industry-specific systems, such as CI/TY, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps
- Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills, and an aptitude for self-motivation
- Strong communication skills and customer service experience
- A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach to client management
- A flexible schedule that allows you to be available days, nights, holidays and weekends based on the demands of the hotel and clients

The Mining Sales professionals are responsible for selling equipment rental and services primarily to mining customers by developing current and potential customer relationships in order to obtain or surpass the yearly revenue budgets in line with company procedures and targets. The Sales Manager at guar Land Rover Metro West will lead the team in providing expert guidance to customers seeking their ideal vehicle. You will champion top-tier customer service, guaranteeing every visitor's satisfaction at guar Land Rover Metro West. If you thrive on customer interaction, possess a sales-driven history, and excel in building enduring client connections, this position awaits you!
Job Duties:
- Focus on any customer complaints that Sales Consultants are unable to rectify and take necessary steps to resolve these complaints.
- Maintain an enthusiastic attitude to build positive Employee attitudes and morale.
- Work collaboratively with your sales team to drive sales with new and existing customers.
- Review the monthly goals and target with General Managers and discuss areas for improvement.
- Review inventory daily, be sure that each unit that is available for immediate delivery as soon as possible, and select units for special displays.
- Ensure that your sales consultants are following the appropriate process and that they are using the tools in place in order to be successful.
Successful Candidates Possess:
- Experience managing teams of at least 5-10 people
- Hold a valid OMVIC license.
- Proficient with 1-80 and TMS software
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Self-motiving with excellent work ethic
- Ability to problem solve and high attention to detail.
- Loves a fast pace environment.
- Computer skills and understanding of technology.
- The Sales Manager must be adaptable to work evening and weekend shifts as needed.
- Busy work environment and so the Sales Manager must have exceptional organizational and stress management skills to complete daily tasks.
- The Sales Manager must be process oriented and able to hold their sales team to process standards
