**General Summary** Responsible for the overall management of a brand including delivering annual net sales and profit targets, developing base and incremental sales strategies, executing new product launches, and consumer/customer specific initiatives
**Primary Responsibilities**

- Manages 2 direct reports
- Set annual objectives and key results that align with overall business unit strategies for direct reports
- Mentor, coach, and develop direct reports to assist them in achieving their annual targets as well as career aspirations
- (25%) Trade Management & Pricing
- Owns incremental drivers/sales controllables (pricing/ads/display), create sales tactics to deliver objectives, creates contingency plans to address opportunity gaps or address competitive threats
- Adjust trade optimization initiatives to align with the needs of the business throughout the fiscal year
- (25%) Strategy
- Leads the sales portion of the business planning process (including Strategic, Operating, and annual brand planning) representing customer team perspectives through the creation and allocation of bottom up building blocks
- Establishes strategies that achieve the business goals for the assigned brand/category
- Develop go to market fundamentals for brand to drive competitive advantage in marketplace
- Plays lead role in evaluating customer team annual plans and recommend annual planning volume allocation for customer teams.
- Lead purchase strategy creation.
- (15%) Business Planning
- Provides input as a key stakeholder into the Integrated Business Planning process on a monthly basis, drawing upon external sales inputs and representing the customer team call in the business team forecast
- Generate a consolidated retail forecast that incorporates impactful cross-functional factors from brand, demand, and customer team inputs
- Using the demand projections, ensure customer requirements are met from a supply perspective
- (10%) Communication and Tracking
- Create selling strategy, materials and tools aligned with brand expectations for new item initiatives
- Allocate and manage listing budgets and new item volume. Create, monitor and report distribution targets
- Establish the structure of new launches with the brand team, including: launch timing, targeted retailers, pricing and promotional strategy, display vehicles, and planogram composition
**Complexity & Scope**
- Works with Customer Teams (Business Development Managers, Directors) and Business Teams (Brand Managers, Shopper Marketing Managers, Demand Planners) routinely as well as senior leadership
- Two direct reports: Trade Marketing Manager & Associate Sales Strategy Manager
- Facilitates meetings and discussions with the entire sales organization
- Develops and owns the strategic direction for pricing and promotional guardrails, annual plans, and monthly forecasts
- Takes on complex and ambiguous challenges, completes thorough analysis, and presents recommendations on action plans to senior leadership

The Sales Manager will meet or exceed sales objectives identify opportunities to grow revenues in the defined sales territory for specialty, genetics and community laboratory business. The SM will deliver educational presentations or where required schedule for the MSL team to deliver. The Sales Manager will sustain and build customer relationships, understand competitive positioning and activity that will drive sales and marketing strategies. The sales manager will execute the business strategy including a focus on advancing the Dynacare customer experience. The Sales Manager will take an enterprise view collaborating with the BDCSS team driving overall sales.

How YOU will make a difference:
- Develop, manage and be accountable for sales budgets that focus on genetics, specialty diagnostics and community laboratory business, while providing insight on sales opportunities in key uninsured testing markets
- Understand key publication data, clinical guidelines and competitive differentiators to be able to manage objections effectively
- Plan, structure and develop a call plan that ensures delivery of key messages to customers within a designated region
- Document and share key customer insights with sales management
- Build and maintain key customer relationships
- Actively present, negotiate and liaise with key clinics, physicians, geneticists and identify current sales opportunities
- Identify customer constraints or challenges with test access or ability to order to ensure consistent revenue
- Work closely with operational functions (Customer service, PSC operations, Lab Operations, Logistics) to define service level requirements for relevant operations (e.g. onboarding, customer service inquiry resolution, etc.)
What YOU bring to the role:
- Demonstrated existing relationships in the physician community
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a scientific or business discipline and an ideal or preferred candidate would have an MSc Genetics or MSc Genetic Counselling with 2-3 years of clinical experience
- 3+ years of experience selling health services with opinion leaders in the field
- Strong analytical skills, able to strategically plan and utilize creative thinking to investigate new business and market opportunities
- Strong track record of implementing and executing tactics to achieve key strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding budgeted sales and profit objectives
- Experience in managing existing accounts and a proven ability to secure new revenue
- Excellent sales skills/potential with the proven ability to negotiate and close deals
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Self-starter and comfortable working with autonomy
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and able to adapt a sales approach based on audience (technical to senior management)
- Possess a superior level of negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills to support building of stronger customer relationships externally and internally
- Operate with integrity, build trust, quickly win and sustain credibility in relationships with others
- Excellent observation and listening skills
- Team player with results-oriented approach, professionally assertive and self-confident
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exhibit courage in a positive fashion and challenge the status quo to support superior business performance

Busy Import dealership has an immediate requirement for an experienced Sales Manager to join our successful dealership in Orangeville. In this key role, you will be responsible for the profitable operation of the vehicle sales department by meeting or exceeding sales and customer satisfaction targets. This is a demanding hands-on position that requires direct involvement and leadership in all aspects of the department.
Responsibilities
- Work with General Manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory, forecast monthly sales and expenses and develop promotions and advertising plans

- Assist individual salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives and provide them with the support to meet these goals

- Ensure new and used car lots are well maintained, presentable and organized

Qualifications
- 2 years successful experience in Automotive Sales Management; 5 years of automotive sales experience

- Outstanding leader, trainer and coach
- Able to foster a team environment to achieve common goals.
