Position Overview:
Reporting to the VP, Ticketing Sales & Service, the Director, Ticketing & Sales Strategy will be responsible for managing the ticketing operations while developing and implementing new sales strategies to grow ticket revenue. The successful candidate will employ a consultative approach to align operational efficiencies with sales strategies while fostering internal collaboration with our Ticketing sales leaders, Business Intelligence, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will blend operational excellence with strategic insight, utilizing data analytics tools to inform decision-making and optimize sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the VP, Ticketing Sales & Service and the sales leadership team to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies that align ticketing operations with sales & service objectives across all sub-departments.
- Oversee ticketing operations across all sub-departments, ensuring streamlined processes and efficient workflows that enhance the effectiveness of sales and service efforts
- Utilize data-driven analytics and market research to identify trends, track performance, develop pricing strategies & new products and inform strategic initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of standardized auditing procedures to ensure operational compliance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to deliver Tableau Reports and CRM Dashboards that capture and convey key performance metrics & insights to leadership stakeholders and executives.
- Aligning with Marketing to synchronize ticket sales strategies with promotional initiatives that maximize fan engagement and contribute to our Clubs overall success.
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to enhance technological capabilities and operational processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in a sales operations role, preferably in the sports or entertainment sectors.
- Proven success in enhancing operational efficiency and driving sales growth.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, promoting teamwork across departments.
- Experience managing third-party vendor relationships and conducting market research.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and business intelligence systems.

Our Client is one of the fastest-growing companies in BC and is a leader in their industry. They are looking for an Operations Administrator to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with good customer service and data entry exprience (bonus if you've dealt with software license keys/contracts before)
Your Role:
- Act as a primary contact for general customer inquiries including order/payment status, account issues, license configuration, etc.
- Reviewing sales contracts and translating them into accurate order details that you will enter into the ERP and product licensing systems
- Reviewing the details of key financial processes (e.g. invoicing and billing schedules, renewals) to ensure that each contract is being processed correctly
- Assisting the sales team by generating software license keys from the Product Licensing system for new sales and renewals and working with other members of the Finance team to coordinate the delivery of software license keys to customers
- Providing operational support to other teams as required
You Have:
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Excellent telephone etiquette and professional written business communication
- Accuracy with numbers and high attention to detail
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency, prioritize work and meet objectives/deadlines
