Reporting to the VP, Sales & Customer Office, you will provide specialized training on sales effectiveness and sales culture to monitor results and identify training needs while developing action plans to achieve the desired outcomes.

**What you will do**
- Consolidate and build new capabilities to drive a sales and customer culture throughout the organization.
- Research, plan and prepare content, training presentations and workshops focused on market management, coaching, sales training, pipeline, cross-sell, dashboarding, renewal strategy, sales mindset, feedback loops and NPS actions.
- Maximize and leverage collective best practices to promote Zurich as a market leader that enables better service to brokers, customers and distributors.
- Responsible for fostering and sharing knowledge, best practices and an industry-led customer focus in Zurich's chosen markets in order to help accelerate our growth in selected segments.
- Be continuously informed of current market and industry trends paired with an understanding of Zurich's value proposition and internal performance targets as it relates to these segments.
- Prepare reports and presentations for various groups, both internally and externally.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of sales and underwriting curriculum and resources
- Monitor results and identifies training needs for distribution and underwriting teams
- Work with sales management and staff to ensure growth and profitability by providing resources to improve employee performance
- Ensure consistency with cross-functional team strategies through periodic curriculum and content reviews with leaders and key stakeholders
- Support and develop content for our external brokers and customers that are aligned with regulatory requirements
**Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table**
Required:
- Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Sales area
OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Sales area
OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Sales area
AND
- Knowledge of underwriting principles/techniques and SBU Underwriting guidelines
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 or more years of experience in, training/education, business or commerce areas
- MBA is considered an asset
- Team leadership and training experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to lead strategic marketing projects and initiatives
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

The Job Coach/Job Developer is responsible for coordinating the promotion of the program and assisting with the selection of candidates who are eligible to enter the Mobile Application and Azure Cloud Developer program. The incumbent will be responsible for intake and assessment of prospective participants, facilitation of employment readiness sessions, providing support and conducting evaluations, working closely with employers to design work placement and pre-employment workshops. The responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the mission and policies of YWCA Toronto.
ABOUT YWCA TORONTO – WOMEN IN TRADES AND TECHNOLOGY
The Women in Trades and Technology programs provide training and employment service to women and gender diverse people interested in joining the construction, landscape and information technology industries. Programs are funded by MTCU (Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities) and are geared to educate women and gender diverse people about career opportunities in non-traditional occupations and train them in trades-specific programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans and implements all outreach activities for recruiting eligible participants for the Mobile Application and Azure Cloud Developer program in consultation with the Manager and Seneca Polytechnic.
- Organizes all intake activities for the program including arranging orientation sessions, preparing intake forms, confirming participants attendance, verifying applicants’ documentation.
- Works with the Manager and Program Coordinator at Seneca Polytechnic to deliver integrated and seamless services to participants, problem solves and implement all aspects of the program
- Develops, organizes and facilitates the employment readiness components of the program
- Identifies employers who are willing to offer paid or unpaid placements, including wage subsidies incentives.
- Responsible for securing paid or unpaid placements for 75% of the group participants
- Maintains records and compiles program statistics; prepares reports and correspondences and conducts follow up calls
- Provides job development counselling, job coaching and job retention support
- Overall responsibility for employer and participants relations including orienting employers to participants needs, mediating contentious issues, negotiating participants work experience placement
QUALIFICATIONS
- In-depth knowledge of an academic discipline normally acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Adult Education or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ experience in related field
- Group Facilitation Skills or Life Skills Training required
- Counselling approach that is flexible, de-escalates tension, teaches conflict resolution and is focused on success
- Ability to work within an anti-oppression, feminist framework
- Ability to deliver culturally sensitive services in a multicultural environment
- Application of strong judgment skills to evaluate employer/participant suitability
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively both in person and by telephone
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel e-mail, Internet, and video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Teams
- Ability to maintain a positive approach and a professional manner at all times
- Access to a motor vehicle with a 2 million liability - an asset

**The Opportunity**
In this role, you will have two core priorities: Talent Development & Revenue Development. We view our Account Development Representatives as the next wave of Account Executives at MongoDB.
