**Job Summary:**
You will support projects across Water & Wastewater, Transportation, Buildings, and Sustainability sectors, including renewable energy (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. You will work under moderate supervision and contribute to a variety of engineering design and analysis tasks while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:**
+ Perform electrical analyses, calculations, and routine tests in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
+ Assist in preparing technical specifications, design drawings, memos, and reports.
+ Identify discrepancies in results and propose solutions using sound engineering judgment.
+ Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to fulfill project scope, budget, and timeline.
+ Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate the electrical conditions and provide recommendations.
+ Provide technical or operational guidance to less experienced engineers, EIT's and technicians.
+ Stay updated on industry codes, regulations, and best practices to ensure high-quality design solutions.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering + four (4) years of relevant professional experience
+ Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario in good standing.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in sectors such as Water & Wastewater, Transportation, Buildings, and Sustainability (PV and EV systems).
+ Experience in design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, or similar.
+ Solid Knowledge of power systems: MV/LV distribution, lighting, controls, renewable energy systems.
+ Proficiency with engineering calculations and preparing technical documentation.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency essential).
+ Ability to recognize and adhere to established deadlines and schedules is a must.
+ Ability to fit into a fast-paced team environment and/or work independently.
+ Self-motivated, detail oriented and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer II, you will:
+ Design and Develop: Design, develop, and test a variety of electrical engineering assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project for our wearable devices.
+ Test and Validate: Run tests designed by more experienced engineers, review test results, and perform root-cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
+ Support and Innovate: Make changes to or upgrade existing electrical designs and seek out new tools to analyze and solve problems, ensuring compliance with quality processes and standards.
+ Documentation: Develop and test documentation which describes specific electrical functionality and experimental results.
+ Collaborate: Participate in project code reviews, providing input and building productive working relationships with the immediate team and other internal groups.
+ Integration: Support hardware-software integration and validation efforts to ensure robust functionality.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years experience in electronic circuit design - familiarity with Schematic Capture, Layout, SI simulations, PDN, ESD, EMI and standard interface buses (e.g. I2C, SPI, USB, MIPI, PCIe, DDR.)
+ Experience in hands on testing and integration
+ Advanced level of understanding of the electrical engineering discipline
+ Advanced level of knowledge of electrical components
+ Strong understanding of sustainable design practices
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior Zebra Technologies internship is highly desired.
+ Experience using AI tools to enhance hardware design and development workflows.

+ MCU and Python, with exposure to machine learning and data analysis techniques.
