Our mission is to empower practitioners to deliver high-quality care while spending less time on administration. By providing cutting-edge digital tools, we ensure that healthcare professionals can focus on what truly matters—improving patient outcomes and experiences.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, we are seeking a versatile and analytical Product Owner who will play a key role in shaping the development of our EMR platform while driving insight-driven improvements across the product lifecycle. This role is ideal for hands-on, data-driven individuals who thrive at the intersection of product delivery, user engagement, and strategic decision-making.
You will partner across teams and with users to define and deliver impactful features, integrate customer feedback, and leverage insights to inform product and business decisions. In this role, you’ll contribute to product enablement, analytics, and operational processes, helping OSCAR Pro deliver healthcare solutions that make a meaningful difference.
This is a full-time, remote position BASED OUT OF CANADA.
What is in it for you
Purpose. You will help OSCAR Pro remain at the forefront of healthcare technology by analyzing user behaviour, conducting competitive research, and ensuring that the voice of the customer is embedded in every feature. Your work will directly improve the quality of healthcare delivery.
Impact. You will shape the development of OSCAR Pro’s EMR platform, helping clinicians, administrators, and patients by delivering features that improve workflows and care delivery. You will design and implement new ways to measure the success of our teams and our features.
Growth. This role goes beyond standard product ownership. You will be responsible for launching and managing a customer feedback portal, developing analytics dashboards, and establishing processes that will guide product and business strategy. Over time, you will expand into a broader Product Analytics and Operations function, creating a pathway for advancement within the WELL Health Technologies umbrella.
What you will do:
- User engagement. You will conduct interviews and usability testing to ensure that features solve real problems. You will facilitate customer engagements, test prototypes, and integrate user input into the development process.
- Product insights and analytics. You will use product analytics tools to track user behaviour, uncover friction points, and identify opportunities. You will create dashboards that measure both product outcomes and team performance, providing clear visibility into whether initiatives are meeting their goals.
- Customer feedback management. You will launch and manage OSCAR Pro’s customer feedback portal, including wishlists and suggestions. You will triage user input, respond to customers, and transform feedback into actionable recommendations. You will support the broader Product team by facilitating conversations with users and ensuring that feedback is integrated into the prioritization process.
- Market research and competitive analysis. You will maintain an ongoing view of competitors, industry trends, and market conditions. You will provide insights that inform product roadmaps and feature development, ensuring OSCAR Pro remains aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.
- Enablement support. You will contribute to documentation, knowledge base content, and in-app guides, ensuring that stakeholders and users have clear access to resources.
- Product ownership. As needed, you will directly work with development teams to define, plan, and deliver features. You will gather and refine requirements, create and manage backlogs, write detailed user stories, and unblock the team by answering questions and clarifying scope. You will lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and grooming sessions.
- The experience. You have progressive experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or in a similar role, ideally within a SaaS or healthcare environment. You have strong Agile experience, with proven ability to guide development teams through sprint cycles and iterative delivery. Experience with EMR systems or healthcare workflows is an asset.
- The technical knowledge. You are familiar with JIRA for backlog and user story management. You have hands-on experience with product analytics platforms such as Pendo or similar tools. You understand how to validate data, uncover insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Experience with SQL or data querying is considered an asset.
- The analytical skills. You have exceptional attention to detail and can synthesize large volumes of user behaviour data, market research, and customer feedback into clear, structured insights. You can design dashboards and metrics to evaluate the success of features and overall outcomes.
- The user-centred mindset. You are skilled at engaging with customers, conducting interviews, and integrating their feedback into the product development process. You are equally comfortable validating prototypes and facilitating discovery discussions.
- The communication and collaboration. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences. You are proactive in facilitating decisions, supporting team members, and ensuring clarity across all stakeholders.
- The ownership and vision. You are motivated by opportunities to expand beyond traditional product ownership. You want to lead customer feedback processes, strengthen analytics capabilities, and contribute to cross-functional product operations over the long term.
