What You Will Do:

  • High-visibility patrol of assigned areas, on foot and in company vehicles
  • Ensure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public
  • Respond against theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire
  • Monitor property access control
  • Investigate and report suspicious behaviour, incidents, and security breaches
  • Enforce client-informed policies
  • Communicate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
  • Respond to and investigate alarms, ensuring properties are secure and in order before departing

Shift Details:

  • Full-time: Must be able to work 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Shifts: Night shifts (8-hour or 12-hour)
  • Mobile patrol team works out of the main operations office in BURNABY , which is accessible by transit
  • Parking provided at Head Office for successful candidate

You Are a Great Fit If You:

  • Hold a valid BC Security License
  • Have a valid Class 4 or 5 Driver's License, with a clean driver's abstract (NO previous suspensions and/or prohibitions)

The Loss Prevention (LP) Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of area Loss Prevention personnel and programs. This role ensures the Area Loss Prevention plan is executed effectively, and that team members are trained, professional, and capable of delivering security programs in stores.

The Supervisor monitors inventory loss and crime trends, ensures department and store shrink objectives are met, oversee investigations, and ensures appropriate incident response at area locations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Protect all company assets and reduce losses.
  • Supervise Loss Prevention team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor inventory loss and crime trends; meet shrink targets, lead investigations and ensure appropriate emergency response.
  • Maintain effective liaison with public safety authorities, law enforcement, vendors, and other security professionals.
  • Be cognizant of and report issues which could adversely affect the morale of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding rights and obligations for arrest and application of force.
  • Industry certifications such as LPQ, CFI, or APP are preferred.

  • Completion of London Drugs leadership and LP training programs or equivalents.
  • First Aid.

  • Utilize Loss Prevention technology equipment including CCTV, Access Control, EAS, and exception-based reporting systems to identify and act on loss and safety issues within assigned location. Utilize technology including exception-based reporting systems to identify dishonest activity both internally and externally.
  • Utilize the store RFID Inventory system and be able to provide training to store team members on an ongoing basis. Correct and resolve operational issues in partnership with the store team, Area Loss Prevention Manager, and the LP Inventory Accuracy team.
  • Provide direct support to assigned locations for taking of financial inventory, and RFID based cycle counts as directed. 
  • Regularly communicate with other LP team members, and support cross-communication between store team members, and other departments to identify common issues.Other duties as required

Desired Skills and Experiences   

  • Minimum of 5+ year of related experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection in a multi-unit capacity
  • Full understanding of Canadian federal, provincial and local laws and regulations regarding apprehensions, safety, and all aspects of Loss Prevention

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the loss prevention team to ensure high standards of operational performance, service delivery, and safety. These night shifts are for Mobile Patrol (driving): Different Night Shifts Available


The wage is $18 to start and goes to $18.50 upon performance review after 60 days of successful employment. Security runs 24/7 365 days a year - rain, snow, or good weather. If you can't drive in winter conditions this job isn't for you.

We are looking for professional and responsible Mobile Security Drivers to protect our customer sites, assets and personnel.

Your duties would include but are not limited to:

  • Patrolling client sites.
  • Responding to alarms.
  • Doing reports.
  • Reporting all site inconsistencies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry to authorized personnel only.
  • Locking and unlocking the premises at specified times as required by client specifications.
  • Prevent loss and damage to client site by reporting damage or repairs as required.
  • Observe for signs of crime or disorder and report accordingly.
  • Take accurate notes to complete reports, log book entries, and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring while on duty.
  • Ensure risk assessment and assignment instructions are followed at all times to meet customer requirements.
  • Deal with customers, staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring you are fully aware and understand the health and safety policy of the company and client.
  • To take effective action in an emergency and cooperate fully with dispatch and emergency services.


Qualifications:

  • Valid Alberta Security License.
  • Valid Drivers License (AB DL Class 5 or Canadian Equivalent).
  • Excellent verbal, observation, and written communication skills.
  • Good Organizational skills.
  • High level of professionalism and reliability.
  • Flexibility.
  • Ability to use initiative and be adaptable to situations.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English fluently.
  • Must have a flashlight, a pen, and a notebook.


Again, these are driving shifts and you will be driving. You will be driving a company vehicle so a good driving record and good attitude is required. All road rules and laws must be followed.

Location: Various event sites across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Position Type: Part-Time / On-Call.
Compensation: $18.00/hour (Base Rate: $7.20 + 0.80 Courses Premium).

About the Role:
LTS Protective Services is hiring dependable and professional Traffic Security Guards for part-time and on-call assignments across the GTA. This role is ideal for individuals looking to work flexible hours while contributing to the safety and success of public and private. A Traffic Control Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safe and orderly flow of vehicles and pedestrians by directing traffic, setting up control devices, and maintaining safety at work zones or event sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Traffic Flow:

  • Guide vehicles and pedestrians safely around obstructions or hazards.
  • Set up cones, barricades, signs, and other traffic control devices.

Ensure Site Safety:

  • Monitor safety procedures at road construction zones, entrances/exits of facilities, or during public events.
  • Prevent unauthorized vehicles or persons from entering restricted areas.

Communicate Effectively:

  • Use hand signals, radios, or signage to give clear instructions.
  • Coordinate with other guards, law enforcement, or site supervisors.

Enforce Rules and Regulations:

  • Ensure compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
  • Report violations or unsafe behavior.

Incident Response:

  • Respond quickly to emergencies, accidents, or hazards.
  • Maintain logs and reports of incidents or observations.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

To be eligible, candidates must hold and maintain the following:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License (physical or digital copy must be on person while on duty).
  • AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) Certification.
  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).
  • Traffic Control Person (TCP) certificate.
  • Standard First Aid & CPR Level C.
  • Smart Serve Certification.
  • Ministry of Labour Health and Safety Awareness Training.
  • Completion of Resistance Management & Use of Force (Handcuff & Baton) training is considered an asset.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Previous experience in event security or crowd control (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm demeanor and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professional appearance.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and patrol large venues.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous Traffic Control experience preferred.

Uniform Requirements:

All Event Guards are expected to wear LTS-approved security uniforms while on duty:

  • Black Cargo Pants.
  • CSA-approved black footwear.
  • LTS-issued white Security Shirt and Epaulettes.
  • Reflective Safety Vest.
  • Valid ID badge with name or license number displayed.

Note: If you already own any required items, they may be approved for use by management.

Compensation Details:

  • Base Rate: 17.20/hour.
  • Courses Premium: + 0.80/hour (applied only when all certifications are valid and current).
  • Total Rate: 18.00/hour when fully certified.
