The ISMS Lead coordinates and maintains the daily operations of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) Program, ensuring compliance with ISO27001 and alignment with Generac's broader cybersecurity and compliance frameworks. The ISMS lead is the central point of contact for cross-functional control owners, capability teams, and audit stakeholders-supporting evidence collection, risk and control tracking, and the orchestration of ISMS-related deliverables across both internal ISMS assessments and external ISO27001 audits.
The ISMS Lead drives operational excellence through governance coordination, audit readiness, and performance monitoring. This includes facilitating working groups, tracking the Statement of Applicability (SoA), risk register updates, and corrective action plans. The role supports both corporate and subsidiary teams in implementing and sustaining ISMS requirements, helping to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the organization.
**Major Responsibilities**
+ Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring alignment with ISO27001 and Generac's unified governance and compliance frameworks
+ Maintains the GRC platform, supporting timely delivery of compliance activities across policy owners, control implementers, and evidence contributors
+ Facilitates internal ISMS assessments, committee meetings, and working group sessions by preparing agendas, tracking action items, and reporting compliance progress
+ Supports capability teams, subsidiaries, and control owners by clarifying implementation expectations, audit documentation needs, and evidence quality standards
+ Tracks and manages the lifecycle of risks, controls, and corrective actions, including updates to the risk register and the Statement of Applicability (SoA)
+ Coordinate ISMS readiness efforts in preparation for external ISO27001 audits or other applicable certification assessments
+ Develops and refines ISMS-related documentation, including procedures, guidelines, control narratives, and support materials
+ Maintains dashboards and performance metrics related to audit readiness, non-conformity closure, and risk treatment activities
+ Identifies bottlenecks, overdue tasks, and control misalignments, escalating as needed to the IT GRC Capability Manager or Director of InfoSec
+ Ensures consistent version control, evidence traceability, and document quality across all submissions in support of audits or assessments
+ Collaborates with Capability Teams and subsidiaries to ensure control implementation aligns with policy and framework expectations
+ Monitors developments in ISO27001:2022, privacy regulations, and industry best practices to continuously improve the ISMS model and processes
+ Supports onboarding and enablement of new ISMS participants, including training on stakeholder roles, tool usage, and evidence responsibilities
+ Coordinates internal evidence gathering for ISMS assessments and external audits, including document requests, stakeholder interviews, and audit walkthrough preparation
**Minimum Job Requirements**
**Education**
+ Bachelor's Degree with Information Technology focus, or equivalent experience
**Work Experience**
+ 5 years experience in Information Security Management Systems or Cyber Security.
+ Proven experience supporting or coordinating ISO27001 compliance or certification efforts.
+ Experience working within a multi-framework compliance program (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI, GDPR).
+ Understanding of risk assessment methodologies, control mapping, and evidence management practices.
+ Experience with GRC platforms, able to apply prior learnings to new GRC tools.
+ Experience with cross functional coordination, providing guidance to teams across IT and business functions
**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities**
+ Familiarity with cloud service models and control responsibilities in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS environments
+ Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills for multi-stakeholder collaboration
+ Familiarity with unified control framework initiatives or crosswalks across security and privacy standards
+ Understanding of how compliance maps to internal business processes and capability team structures
+ Ability to coordinate evidence requests, policy updates, and SoA changes in a dynamic environment
+ Experience maintaining compliance metrics, dashboards, or remediation tracking reports
+ Knowledge of key control areas such as access control, data protection, vulnerability management, and incident response

**Compensation:** Generac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role when based in Colorado or California is $120,000 to $150,000. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

Position Summary

The Information Security Operations Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding Beanfield’s information assets by maintaining a secure environment, monitoring security events and alerts, and responding to confirmed and potential cyber threats.

This role is responsible for the management and operation of security tools and systems, including firewalls, corporate network equipment, and security solutions, while developing and tuning detection rules, monitoring security events, and leading investigations and response activities. The Information Security Operations Specialist works closely with Beanfield’s technical teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of critical information systems.

Key Responsibilities

Security Infrastructure Operations

  • Develop, implement, and maintain firewall & security appliance rules to enforce security policies and restrict unauthorized traffic.
  • Process and review firewall & security appliance rule change requests, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
  • Monitor firewall & security appliance performance and health; conduct maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
  • Administer and monitor network access, ensuring only authorized devices and users connect to the LAN.
  • Lead efforts to remediate vulnerabilities and risks across security and LAN devices, reducing the organization’s attack surface.
  • Ensure compliance of network devices and endpoints with established security policies and baselines.
  • Centralize and correlate relevant security events from firewalls and network devices for anomaly detection and investigation.

Threat Monitoring & Incident Response

  • Develop, deploy, and operate monitoring tools for network traffic, system logs, and alerts to detect threats or vulnerabilities.
  • Proactively track emerging threats and recommend security enhancements to strengthen overall posture.
  • Investigate, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents following the incident management framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead incident response, manage escalations, and provide technical expertise.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews, identify root causes, and contribute to problem management to prevent recurrence.

Security Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the creation, implementation, and management of security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ITIL-based continual improvement initiatives to refine security processes and improve response efficiency.
  • Contribute to enhancing the maturity of the Security Operations function.

Security Reporting & Documentation

  • Compile and maintain security incident reports, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, incident response plans, and security policies.
  • Provide regular reports to the Director of Information Security on incident status, vulnerability trends, and security performance metrics.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Required:
    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with firewall management, network operations, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
    • Familiarity with SIEM platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other cybersecurity tools
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical security concepts to non-technical audiences
    • Current knowledge of cybersecurity methodologies and trends
    • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
    • Self-motivated, dependable, resilient to change, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Preferred:
    • 4+ years of experience in one or more of: Network Operations, Security Operations, IT Operations, Security Incident Response
    • Hands-on experience with FortiNet products and technologies
    • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS)
    • Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for security automation
    • Exposure to network planning, design, and governance risk & compliance
    • Experience with ITIL-based Incident and Problem Management
    • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS-CSC, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
    • Preferred certifications, such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CompTIA Security+, or ITIL v4 Foundations

 The Specialist provides second-level technical client support such as: cyber security analysis of detected anomalies; deep analysis of the operating system; dealing with system crashes and bug fixes; handling troubleshooting; packets captures; configurations; restoring from back up; repair for appliances, networks, and infrastructure, and other system issues for one or more of three particular disciplines: Network Security, Information Security, and/or Endpoint Security; and brings an established repository of technical expertise to act as a Subject Matter Expert. This role upholds defined service level agreements (SLA) and customer service excellence. The Specialist continues to develop a platform of technical expertise.
What you will do: 
24x7 Support – 60% job weight

  • Monitors and resolves support requests. Escalates unresolved issues to senior team members and/or manager(s)
  • Performs deep analysis of the operating system. Handles Cyber incidents, system crashes and bug fixes. Handles troubleshooting, packets captures, configurations, restoring from back up, and repair for appliances, networks, infrastructure, and other system issues. Issues may multiple interactions with clients and/or vendors to resolve
  • Identifies efficiencies and improvements in workflow, thus reducing false positives in client environments
  • Performs root cause analysis and collaborates with consultants and other Analysts to solve repetitive system performance or configuration problems
  • Provides technical knowledge transfer to clients and internal department on low complexity problems
  • Identifies, records, and escalates service performance trends, anomalies, and SLA breaches to senior leadership
  • Applies Trusted Advisor techniques to build up client trust and influence loyalty
  • Service Delivery Improvement - 20% job weight
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to less senior resources as a trusted advisor in the application of CDW methodologies and the use of tools and templates to troubleshoot client requests

What we expect of you: 

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or 3-year diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or a Technology related field and 1 years of security experience in a client-focused environment, and/or working in a security operations center, OR
  • 6 years total of Information Technology experience to include 1 years of security experience in a client-focused environment, and/or working in a security operations center
  • At least two intermediate-level certifications in Managed Security Services disciplines, including but not limited to:

o     Check Point: CCSA, CCSE: Cisco; CCNA-Security, CCNP – Security, CyberOps Professional, Palo Alto: ACE, PCNSE, Cortex XDR: PCDRA, PMXdS; IBM QRadar Security Administrator; , Splunk, Exabeam: Principal Security Analyst, Associate or Advanced Security Engineer:, CrowdStrike Falcon CFA, Microsoft SC-200, C|SA or similar technology certifications

  • The position is part of a 7-day per week, 24-hour per day managed services operations. To provide the required coverage, must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Provide direct client support, managing tickets and handling calls.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Analyze and resolve problems across MSS supported technologies. 
  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure and Information Systems design or support involving hardware, software and services at an enterprise level for at least one discipline in the Managed Security Services portfolio
  • Contribute to team objectives and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor less experienced team members and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools such as word processing, spreadsheet, diagram creation, presentation and email processing applications.

Title: Senior Analyst, Global Security Operations

Pay: $72,000 to $79,000 with incremental increases based on tenure, performance and completion of courses.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with most days in the office and some working from home.

Main Responsibilities:

The Sr. Analyst is a member of the Global Security Operations (GSO) team and is focused on process improvement and change management.

As a member of the team, you will contribute directly to its growth. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, be self-motivated, and be an effective communicator who is capable of working in both a team environment and independently.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the efficacy of existing processes, ensuring they are scalable, identifying areas in need of improvement, and implementing changes. This may include automating manual tasks and the creation of new processes to replace legacy ones;
  • Developing new processes and all associated documentation, and ensuring they are compliant with CIBC standards;
  • Creating new documentation or updating existing content, and ensuring both the process and its documentation align with CIBC's standards. This may include altering existing processes and collaborating with team members to identify benchmarks and best-practices;
  • Collection of qualitative and quantitative data, and compilation of reports illustrating trends in KPIs, KRIs, and other metrics;
  • Quality assurance. This may include testing random samplings of output created by processes to ensure established quality standards and benchmarks are consistently being met;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal team members, adjacent teams, clients, and external partners;
  • Ensuring the Enterprise Physical Security System is being used effectively and according to standards; if it is not, working with site staff and Enterprise teams to find a resolution;
  • Being adaptable and flexible in the face of changing business needs.
