• Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment.

• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

• Able to:
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the loss prevention team to ensure high standards of operational performance, service delivery, and safety. This includes conducting regular site visits, managing staff performance, supporting scheduling needs, and maintaining effective communication with both clients and internal teams. The Supervisor plays a critical role in elevating the quality of reporting and documentation, responding to incidents, and occasionally filling in for LPO or Tactical shifts when required. What you would do

• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance, quality, and adherence to protocols
• Oversee and support the performance management of the Loss Prevention team
• Coach and mentor officers to improve incident and daily report writing standards
• Generate and analyze statistical reports related to incidents, trends, and staff performance
• Assist with staff scheduling and shift coverage, including working shifts when needed
• Collaborate with the Client Services Manager to support operational goals and project needs

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid BC Security Worker's License (BST completed)
• Valid AST (Advanced Security Training) Certificate
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean driver's abstract and reliable transportation
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the security industry
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Loss Prevention
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience, preferably in security or loss prevention settings
• Strong communication, leadership, and report-writing skills
• Proficient in incident reporting systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Customer service experience, particularly in retail or fast food settings, is an asset
• Experience or interest in law enforcement is considered a strong asset
• Basic understanding of retail security features
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and covering operational shifts when required
