Votre journée en un coup d'oeil :

  • Procéder au rapprochement des comptes d'actif, comptes de passif et d'autres comptes en analysant les renseignements comptables et en produisant des feuilles justificatives
  • Recommande des actions financières en analysant les options de comptabilité
  • Maintenir les contrôles comptables en préparant et en recommandant des politiques et des procédures
  • Orienter le personnel de bureau en coordonnant les activités et en répondant aux questions
  • Rapprocher les écarts financiers en recueillant et en analysant les renseignements comptables
  • Préparer les paiements et vérifier la documentation et demander des déboursements
  • Répondre aux questions relatives aux procédures comptables en recherchant et en interprétant les règles et règlements comptables
  • Se conforme aux exigences légales financières fédérales, étatiques et locales en étudiant la législation existante et nouvelle, en veillant au respect des exigences et en conseillant la direction sur les mesures à prendre
  • Préparer des rapports financiers spéciaux en recueillant, en analysant et en résumant les renseignements comptables et les tendances
  • Maintenir la confiance des clients et protéger les opérations en préservant la confidentialité des informations financières
  • Contribuer aux efforts de l’équipe en obtenant les résultats correspondants, au besoin
  • Traiter les déclarations de taxe mensuelles et trimestrielles selon les besoins
  • Participe à la mise en œuvre du logiciel, aux mises à jour et à la formation correspondante
  • Participer à la procédure de fin de mois et de fin du trimestre et au traitement de fin d'année
  • Contribuer à la préparation des états financiers consolidés et du dossier des états financiers

Genetec is currently looking for a Senior Accountant. Reporting directly to the Assistant-Controller, the candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks, such as those listed below. Your day at a glance:

  • Prepares asset, liability and other account entries by analyzing account information and producing supporting schedules
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options

The Role:

Working in close collaboration with the Production Staff, the Senior Animator will create top-notch animations and bring creatures, characters, objects and vehicles to life according to the project vision outlined by the Lead and/or Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Working with the Production Staff to provide animated sequences that align with the Client’s vision and the project brief as outlined by the Supervisor.
  • Ability to animate in various styles (creatures, realistic humans, motion capture, vehicles, complex characters, objects, cameras, etc.) as required on assigned project(s)
  • Sufficient capability in Mocap cleanup and 3D rotomation for FX
  • Proficiency with animation software (Maya) for visual effects-intensive projects
  • Other miscellaneous duties as required from time to time by the Animation and CG Supervisor

Your Track Record:

  • 5 years of professional experience in VFX and Animation for Films and TV
  • Expert knowledge of traditional animation principles for Hard Surface and Character Animation.
  • Strong knowledge of animation rigging/set-up and 3D character animation
  • Expert knowledge of Maya
  • Strong understanding of scene layout to match plates
  • Excellent artistic skill set with a full understanding of animation and a strong sense of composition
  • Knowledge of the software and hardware used in the post-production process

  • Lead and support the planning and implementation of geochemical, hydrogeochemical, and/or hydrogeological projects in the mining sector across Canada.
  • Direct project managers on projects that support all phases of mining such as baseline studies, permitting, operational support and monitoring, closure planning, post-closure monitoring, and special investigations.
  • Provide senior technical leadership and insight for geochemical/ hydrogeochemical projects, providing senior technical support internally and outside of the company
  • Supervise, mentor, and assist with the development of technical skills of junior and intermediate level staff.
  • Contribute geochemical or hydrogeochemical expertise to large multi-disciplinary projects in collaboration with our other senior staff.
  • Represent Ecofish Research Ltd. And Minnow Environmental in the scientific community through high-quality deliverables, industry engagement, and participation in technical conferences.

Key Responsibilities

The Role Includes But Is Not Limited To

  •  Technical liaison with clients with/without Project Manager involvement.

  •  Post-secondary education from an accredited institution in hydrogeology, engineering, or earth sciences.

Additional Attributes Considered An Asset

  •  Strong comprehension of environmental legislation in Ontario, including but not limited to Environmental Protection Act, Ontario Water Resources Act and Species at Risk Act, as well as associated relevant Regulations.
