Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Reporting

  • Deliver monthly financial packages, including income statements, cash flow reports, and balance sheets to executive leadership.

  • Prepare detailed corporate metrics and KPIs that align with sales, production, and growth targets.

  • Lead the preparation and presentation of financials for year-end audits and strategic planning sessions.

Strategic Finance & Business Support
  • Partner with the Sales, Manufacturing teams to provide data-driven insights that enhance product costing, pricing strategies, and material sourcing decisions.

  • Deliver proactive financial analysis to support regional sales strategy and operational alignment.

  • Design and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

Governance, Compliance & Tax
  • Develop and maintain financial controls, audit trails, and risk management policies.

  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities in Canada, the US, and the EU.

  • Lead corporate tax compliance and manage relationships with external accounting and audit firms.

Banking & Treasury
  • Manage all banking relationships, including cash management, credit facilities, and treasury operations.

  • Ensure optimal liquidity while supporting strategic capital investment decisions.



What You Bring
  • CPA designation.

  • 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, chemicals, or multi-entity environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to move beyond transactional work to deliver strategic financial leadership.

  • Proven ability to lead systems implementation, process improvement, and financial transformation.

  • Strong understanding of Canadian, U.S., and EU accounting standards, tax regulations, and cross-border financial reporting.

  • Experience supporting sales, operations, or R&D is a strong asset.

Part-Time Senior Level Math Teacher-Tutor (Gr. 11-12) Wanted

Oxford Learning Ocean Park is looking for an upbeat, reliable, enthusiastic, dynamic part-time High School Math Teacher who wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong background in Math and must be comfortable teaching students in Grades 11–12 at all levels. Upbeat math instructors must be comfortable teaching advanced functions, calculus and data management.

We are currently seeking part-time teacher-tutors for a role in our learning centre. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys numbers and equations, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas.

Tutor-teachers at Oxford Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.

Position Requirements

All Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after-school and evening hours (3:00pm - 7:00pm) as well as some Saturdays (10:00am - 3:00pm). A commitment until the end of the term in June is preferred. Continuing through summer is even better. Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. Relocation packages are not available. This is not an online position. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry and calculus, and vectors.

Experience :

  • Some experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 11 to 12 (or equivalent) level
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time

Responsibilities (Position Details)

You will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach with the following responsibilities:

  • Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Teaching online and in-person
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

Prospective applicants must have 15+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering and design. Prospective applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an institution accredited by CEAB or a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Prospective applicants must be registered with APEGA as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). Ability to register in other provinces, as well as to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the United States, is also desired.

Candidate will provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects, serving as lead electrical engineer when required. Qualified candidate must have knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities. Candidate must have a good working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) or National Electrical Code (NEC) and other related Codes. Candidate must possess strong communication skills, including ability to interact with clients, contractors, and other engineers.

  • Supervision of less experienced staff on a project
  • Coordination with engineers of other disciplines

Job Summary:
The Site Superintendent is responsible for the smooth functioning of day-to-day field operations to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Superintendent, a recognized expert in the organization, implements the project plan and schedule, ensures safety and quality control, and delegates work to field staff, contractors, and tradespeople.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project. Applies the requirements of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote overall compliance with HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project.
• Ensures project materials are supplied and work is completed in compliance with the Project Quality Program
• Ensures that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes and that quality standards are maintained
• Develops, maintains, and drives the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team; ensures project milestones and completion dates are met

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to common construction processes
• Solid understanding of current construction practices; strong working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and project management
• Proven ability to guide safe work practices in a high-pressure environment while maintaining project quality, schedule, and budget
• Ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook, familiar with scheduling software

This position will be responsible for providing wetlands and vegetation ecological expertise to field staff and project management teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Conducting wetland surveys, assessments, and monitoring in Alberta
  • Providing technical wetlands support to project teams
  • Providing vegetation ecological expertise to field staff and project management teams
  • Conducting vegetation inventories, soil assessments, and rare plant surveys
  • Survey planning
  • Permit closure reporting
  • Managing tasks and projects according to approved scopes of work and schedule
  • Liaising with on-site client representatives and contractors
  • Providing independent technical review for proposals and project deliverables
  • Providing a fulsome understanding of environmental best management practices and advising client and project teams accordingly
  • Working collaboratively across project and corporate-level teams

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biology, ecology, soil science, botany, or a related field
  • Professional Biologist (Alberta Society of Professional Biologists) or Professional Agrologist (Alberta) designation
  • Must have an Authenticating Wetlands Professional designation with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists
  • Experience with wetland delineation and classification
  • Familiarity with wetland regulatory regimes in Alberta
  • Experience preparing Wetlands Assessment and Impact Forms, Wetlands Assessment and Impact Reports, and the Wetland Rapid Evaluation Tool
  • Ideally 3 or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience conducting a broad variety of wetlands-specific scopes of work in both preconstruction and construction settings
  • Plant identification skills for wetland, prairie grassland, and upland communities in boreal landscapes
  • Skilled in conducting vegetation inventories and assessments in grassland, boreal, and upland regions.
  • Soil classification experience
  • Strong technical writing, reporting, communication, and team leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management skills
  • Valid Class 5 drivers licence
