What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work with and direct contractors to implement construction safety management systems and other safety requirements.
  • Provide safety leadership for both new and existing construction projects, including structural steel, mechanical, and electrical equipment installation.
  • Lead weekly contractor safety representatives’ meetings made up of trades working onsite.
  • Conduct formal safety audits of activities related to construction and equipment installation.
  • Review contractor JSA’s to confirm completeness and accuracy of work being performed.
  • Lead, support, and participate in key safety initiatives.
  • Manage multiple reports for local, regional, and regulatory agencies, as well as internal/global reporting.
  • Calculate risks and challenge the status quo with deep analysis of situations.
  • Develop and present PowerPoint presentations to communicate incident reports, trends, work rule changes, plant status, and more.


What You Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading safety on construction projects with multiple trades.
  • Proven experience managing projects requiring critical thinking (kaizen), problem solving, data analysis, and verification.
  • Applied understanding of key regulatory frameworks including CSA, OHSA, ANSI, and NFPA standards.
  • NCSO designation (achieved or in progress) required.
  • CRSP designation (achieved or in progress) strongly preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Construction Industry Outreach Program, OSHA 510 Construction Industry Standards, or OSHA 500 Train the Trainer (U.S.) considered an asset.

Base Salary - $52,500 + Profit Sharing

We are currently seeking new or recent graduates to join our Management Development Program.  This is a full-time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing.

The Role:

As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4 phased program to learn every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. Program Outline:

Phase 2: Customer relationships and Procurement  – Go from helping customers with various customer service issues to managing large-scale projects and problem solving. While building relationships with customers and vendors, and providing world class service, learn how to read blueprint drawings to create a quote of materials the customer will require to complete their project.

Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales  – With a focus on business development, you will learn how to find new business opportunities, how to sell our products, negotiate contracts resulting in expanding the customer base of the business, and creating level 5 customer partnerships.

Phase 4: Leadership and Operations  – It is now your turn to provide a strategic vision, lead a team of your own, mentor others, and run the business by focusing on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.

Once you have completed the phases of training, you will be ready to take on the challenge of being a manager at one of our Canadian Profit Center locations.

Qualicare Hamilton is a growing home care franchise serving Hamilton, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, and surrounding areas. We provide quality home care services, including Personal Support Worker (PSW), Nursing, and Companionship Care, to seniors and adults requiring compassionate, reliable care.

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative / Business Development Specialist to help drive client acquisition and revenue growth. This is a freelance/contract position with flexible hours, ideal for someone with experience in healthcare sales, home care services, or related fields.

Responsibilities
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into new client contracts
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, senior centers, and community organizations
  • Manage and follow up on inbound leads (including purchased leads) promptly
  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the home care market in Hamilton and surrounding areas
  • Track and report on sales activity, conversion rates, and revenue growth
  • Collaborate remotely with management and marketing teams to align on business goals
  • Support client retention efforts through relationship management
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in healthcare, home care, or senior services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Familiarity with the Hamilton and surrounding Ontario markets preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and clients efficiently
  • Comfortable using CRM and lead management tools (training can be provided)
  • Reliable internet and phone access for remote work
  • Reliable car and valid drivers license for travel within service territories
Compensation
  • Commission* based payment structure on first 2 months of service revenue per new client
  • Potential for bonuses based on performance metrics
  • Flexible hours
*This is a commission-only position with a competitive commission on revenue generated from new clients. There is no base salary or hourly wage. Earnings are directly tied to your sales performance, therefore the more clients you bring in, the more you earn. This role is ideal for self-motivated, goal-oriented individuals who enjoy building relationships and driving revenue in a growing home care franchise.

**Position Overview:**
As our Records Management Coordinator (1-year contract), you support the Quality Team by performing a variety of clerical duties. You report to the Document Control & Quality Records Supervisor, have no direct reports, and collaborate with team members through regular internal communication.
**Location:**
On-site in Cambridge, Ontario
**Your Day to Day as a Quality Records Coordinator:**
In this role, you support the Quality Team by ensuring records are accurate, organized, and compliant, while continuously developing your knowledge of quality processes. Each day, you will:
+ **Manage and Verify Records** - Scan, sort, and authenticate production orders and reports, learning verification methods and ensuring accuracy through first and second checks.
+ **Support Production Workflow** - Handle production orders and drawings, ensuring proper sign-offs, timely returns to the shop floor, and smooth document movement between teams.
+ **Assist with Project Documentation** - Contribute to the preparation and organization of history dockets and RT films, maintaining trackers and supporting compliance with requirements.
+ **Learn and Grow** - Build knowledge of quality documentation standards and processes while applying self-learning, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
+ **Collaborate and Deliver** - Work closely with team members, demonstrating ownership, timeliness, and accountability in all tasks.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma and some document control experience is an asset.
+ Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PDF editor.
+ Ability to follow established procedures.
+ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others.
