Education & Certification

- 5+ years in education or training roles with experience in quality improvement.

This member of the Canadian Mental Health Association works alongside a team of professionals whose focus is safety, stability and support for individuals in a mental health crisis who are in immediate contact with police but not suitable for incarcerations or admission to the hospital. - Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card upon hire.
- Must have completed Coronary Care 1 Course or demonstrate equivalency within 6 months of hire date
- Must have Telemetry Certification
- Acute medicine experience required, ideally with a focus in cardiology or neurology
- Current Medical-Surgical experience preferred
- Ability to manage a variety of patients conditions across the life span
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Caring attitude with patients, families and co-workers
- Demonstrates commitment to continuing education
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of this position
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.
Additional Information
Hours : Monday - Sunday -- Various rotating 8 & 12 hour shifts; 0730-1930; 1930-0730; 2330-0730 (Hours subject to change based on operational requirements)
Salary: $39.07 to $56.00 per hour
