This leader will own complex client programs, drive solution design and delivery, and shape winning RFP responses and SoWs. · Advise on VA/DoD/FSS, Tricare, and State Price Transparency obligations, timelines, and reporting triggers; establish compliance roadmaps and internal controls.

· Design and review SOPs, playbooks, data quality checks, and audit evidence; oversee root-cause analyses and remediation plans.

· Partner with clients to align business rules, data lineage, and cross-functional dependencies (Trade, Finance, Contract Ops, IT, Legal, QA) for end-to-end compliance.

2) Tooling, Data & Analytics:

· Architect and deliver automation for calculations, validations, and submissions (e.g., GP/Medicaid, 340B, VA), including Python/SQL-based pipelines and reproducible analytics.

· Build reference data frameworks (e.g., MDM, product/customer hierarchies), implement version control (Git) and CI/CD practices, and enforce testing/QA standards.

· Create reporting and alerting (Tableau/Power BI/Looker) for compliance KPIs, variance analysis, and executive dashboards.

· Collaborate with engineering to optimize cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), storage, and performance; document technical designs and runbooks.

3) Project & Program Delivery=:

· Lead discovery, roadmap, and implementation across Model N/Revitas/GP Platforms, custom calculators, and integrations with ERP, chargeback, and data lake ecosystems.

Required Qualifications

· 12+ years of experience in Life Sciences (manufacturer, consulting, or technology provider), with 5+ years focused on Government Pricing/MDRP, 340B, VA/DoD/FSS, Tricare, and/or State Price Transparency.

· Demonstrated ownership of complex GP calculations, validations, submissions, and audits, including cross-functional program leadership.

· Technical background with proficiency in Python and SQL; working knowledge of one or more: R, Java, C#/.NET, Scala, or VBA.

· Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT (e.g., dbt/Airflow/ADF), version control (Git), testing frameworks, and CI/CD.

What you'll be working on

Principals work closely with Directors and Project Leaders in leading client engagements, including larger, multi-year efforts that are part of a portfolio of projects. They ensure that client needs are clearly defined, supervising activities throughout to ensure these needs are met, and maintaining alignment of expectations. Responsibilities typically include:

  • Leading the day-to-day execution of several client projects while guiding and developing individual team members (PLs, Associates and/or Consultants)
  • Ensuring that projects are scoped, planned and executed according to both the client's strategic goals as well as TDL's overarching goals in that area of practice 
  • Taking ownership of the overall project and its end outputs/deliverables while overseeing the formulation of hypotheses for research and investigation
  • Uncovering and challenging client assumptions, intuitions and prior knowledge
  • Structuring research/experimentation plans and advanced analysis of data (though the actual analysis may be performed/supported by our data scientists)
  • Preparing and delivering client presentations/reports that highlight key insights in user-friendly ways
  • Providing status reports to senior TDL leadership, and overseeing project budgets (including for the portfolio or projects)
  • Playing a key role in the development and maintenance of high-level client relationships
  • As needed, performing some of the tasks typically assigned to PLs / Consultants (e.g. analyzing and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative findings; conducting stakeholder interviews; etc.)
  • Participating in project pitches
  • Doing all of the above in varied project contexts that may include topics ranging from relatively isolated research questions to cultural diagnostics, pricing optimization, or behavioral product development
  • Possibility of collaborating with the content team to support publication efforts

What we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate with professional experience in management consulting, behavioral science or psychology, including demonstrated ability leading a project or team. Key attributes of the ideal candidate include:

  • Experience: 4+ years of consulting experience (incl. 2+ years as a team lead) in a top management consulting firm or in a boutique firm at the intersection between strategy, psychology & consulting with demonstrated repeated successes in connecting these worlds; familiarity with behavioral science concepts is a plus but not requires
  • Client Engagement: You have proven ability to manage client engagements & relationships and are often seen as a thought leader; you own responsibility for the quality of engagements; and your strong management and communication skills give you the ability to bring together stakeholders and persuade action

Salary is based upon experience. Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $253,000.00

**Job Overview:**
The Principal Accountant is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. They will be tasked with solving complex Invoicing related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. The Principal Accountant may be responsible for leading Projects and is regarded as a specialist in the area of cash flows and invoicing. As such, they must have in-depth expertise in this area as well as broad knowledge of the accounting discipline within the finance function.
Base Salary Range: $120,862.93-$137,430. The range provided is for base salary only (40 hours per week). In addition, McDermott offers additional contracted hours, and a competitive total rewards package, including project up-lift & bonuses).
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Monitor and lead the month-end close process for Cash/Invoice related items, including communication with stakeholders, preparing status and dashboards, and reporting.
+ Establish and monitor various Invoicing and cashflow reports for external and internal users.
+ Lead analysis and establish a process for continuous monitoring.
+ On as needed basis, lead the team to document existing processes and Standard Operating Procedures in Accounts.
+ Maintain the balance sheet reconciliation policy, risk ranking, and quality; educate team members.
+ Establish and monitor KPIs for the Billing function.
+ Maintain evidence of controls performed and assist in the SOX testing and quarterly and year-end audit process by both internal and external auditors.
+ Coordinate internal and external training of the Accounting Team on relevant topics.
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred.
+ Five-six (5-6) years of relevant experience.
+ Intermediate to advanced excel skills preferred.
+ Good communication skills.
+ Enjoy working in a changing and flexible environment.
+ Good problem-solving skills.
