What You Will Be Doing

As a QA Analyst, you will:

  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for payment flows, including account setup, remittance, and settlement processing.

  • Perform manual and automated testing across backend APIs, frontend UIs, data integrations, and cloud-native microservices.

  • Validate RESTful APIs and complex payloads using Postman, Swagger, and developer consoles.

  • Support end-to-end testing for wire transfers, crypto transactions, and banking integrations (ACH, RTP, etc.).

  • Conduct regression, smoke, integration, UAT, and exploratory testing in Agile environments.

  • Ensure test data integrity through SQL queries and backend validations.

  • Execute production smoke tests and validate deployments across multiple environments.

  • Maintain traceability between user stories, test cases, defects, and compliance protocols (PCI, SOC2, etc.).

  • Log and manage defects using Jira, collaborating with cross-functional teams for resolution.

  • Own quality metrics across environments, producing release readiness reports and risk assessments.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts for automation, governance, and QA tooling.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of QA experience in financial technology, preferably in payments or banking systems.

  • Strong hands-on experience with API validation, SQL, and browser-based debugging.

  • Familiarity with .NET, AWS environments, and JSON/XML payload testing.

  • Proficiency with test management platforms (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) and version control systems (Git).

  • Understanding of PCI-DSS, SOC2, and regulatory testing frameworks.

  • Comfortable validating system behavior across multiple integrations, interfaces, and data pipelines.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Proactive mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a strong instinct for risk detection.

  • Experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams with rapid feedback cycles.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience testing remittance engines, virtual accounts, or transaction reconciliation features.

  • Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or API test automation.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native QA testing in AWS environments.

  • Hands-on experience with banking file formats (NACHA, ISO 20022, CSV) or secure file exchange.
