**Key Responsibilities**
- Leading, developing and completing R&D projects with a focus on Damin-Aide as defined by the Senior R&D Scientis Damin-Aide or, outlined thru the NPD process.
- develop R&D capabilities for premix solutions to support the growth of the brand.
- Formulation of premix and supplement solutions in specified target markets. ( USA F&B/ NUTRITION/ Companion Animal )
- Responsible for supporting the successful commercialization of new products.
- Collaborate with the appropriate business team to outline new product development and improvement projects.
- Collaborates with Procurement, Sourcing , Replenishment and commercial to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy in support of optimal placement and pricing for current and future portfolio
- Provide support with CDM’s and collaboratively works with and develops customer facing relationships and presentation skills.
- Collaborates with the pricing team to understand cost and develop competitor R&D initiatives.
- Collaborate with Technical and Applications Team to develop, coordinate, prepare and present relevant concepts to customers featuring Caldic manufactured or distributed products
**Knowledge / Skills & Experiences**
- University. M.Sc. – Food Science or equivalent is a strong asset
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of product development experience in the food industry preferably in Vitamins and Minerals
- Commercial Sales experience is an asset
- Must have strong oral/written communication and good interpersonal skills
- Must have strong presentation skills
- Must have strong computer knowledge and skills (MS Office)
