Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Financial Statements and Engagements
- Independently prepare financial statements and working papers for Audit, Review, and Compilation engagements.
- Provide support to clients with bookkeeping assistance, ensuring accurate records for financial reviews.
- Calculate and prepare GST/HST, payroll, and other government remittances to ensure compliance.
- Prepare T4’s, T4A’s, T5’s, T3’s, and T5018’s for accurate reporting of employee and contractor income.
- Complete WSIB and EHT filings as required.
- Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns with attention to detail and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support decision-making processes with accurate financial data.
- Utilize accounting software such as Caseware, QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage to record transactions, generate reports, and ensure financial accuracy.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation or successful completion of CFE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Good understanding of corporate and individual tax compliance
