Position Summary
Can/Am is looking for a dedicated and thorough Technical Support Technician to support Can/Am’s client-facing and internal applications.
Can/Am is quickly becoming a leading local government POS System provider. You will be a key player in providing the necessary support our company needs to continue our fabulous track record of exceptional service while working alongside a committed group of professionals.
In addition, this role will require a keen eye for improvement and a developed maturity in prioritization of clients’ needs. This role will report to the Director of Support and Operations.
Qualifications

- Managing multiple tickets with varying priority and timeframes

The PythonX team are responsible for providing automated robotic plasma cutting solutions, primarily for use in the structural steel market.
Our Service department is responsible for the providing technical support to direct end-user customers for service / maintenance contracts and warrantee related solutions, as well as, troubleshooting and problem solving with respect to customer issues.
The PythonX team are expected to deliver results while contributing to Lincoln Electric’s ongoing business activities and priorities, as well as, meeting internal and external customer requirements in a timely, discreet and ethical manner.
Major Responsibilities:
- Must be able to converse in the English language at a high level, both written and spoken. Additional languages (Spanish, French) an asset
- Global technical support, both via the Call-Center and onsite, for Lincoln Electric’s PythonX Plasma Cutting equipment
- Responsibilities include technical phone/email/Skype support during normal business hours and periodic overnight support via 24/7 phone system
- Onsite responsibilities include commissioning and training of customer during installation of the PythonX machine, mechanical and electrical trouble shooting, calibration and review of completed production units, and other services as required
- The person in this position must be highly technical, with an understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and robotic systems, and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Must have strong communication skills; This position has contact with a variety of people and personalities at all levels, requiring the role to manage both up and down, as well as develop relationships with our Customers.

A Typical Day
Field Service Technicians are supplied a company vehicle which is taken home each night - no more commuting in your own vehicle burning expensive gas You use your company-supplied cell phone to call dispatch, who schedules your day from one customer job site to another. Only periodic trips are made into the branch to resupply your van with parts - which means your day is always different.
Shop Service Technicians are responsible for performing routine maintenance and breakdown repair of various material handling equipment at the ARPAC branch. In the shop you will encounter variety in your work and will be able to hone in and advance your skills.

**What You Need to Succeed:**
+ HS Diploma or Equivalent is required
+ Ability to read blueprints.

+ Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field preferred
+ Prior experience in the Electrical, Automotive, HVAC, or Communication Field a plus
+ Prior experience as a Glazier installing glass doors or windows and carpentry experience a plus

**Job Summary**
Patterson Dental is looking for a qualified and motivated Technician to join our Service Department.
Who are we looking for as a Service Technician? Patterson Dental is looking for a worker who is interested in the field of bio-medical (dental) device and equipment repair.
As a Service Technician, you provide repair and installation on a variety of dental equipment and products including networking, computers and software in a Windows environment. The Service Technician learns and follows manufacturer guidelines relative to the repair of devices. Training is supplied by mentorship program with other branch technicians and manufacturers. **Major Duties**
+ Determining parts, supplies or tools needed to complete service requests and using, maintaining, and securing test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate and repair equipment.
+ Managing vehicle inventory and restocking as necessary.
+ Ensuring proper vehicle maintenance guidelines and safe driving habits are followed.
+ Repairing equipment to meet manufacturer's specifications as well as all company, OSHA or other agencies' policies related to asepsis.
+ Providing technical support after initial installation of equipment, PC software and hardware and ensuring that service commitments are met within standard response time.
+ Other duties as related to the Service Technician position.
**Job Qualifications**
+ What background and experience is needed as a Service Technician? The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ General mechanical aptitude with prior experience in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, heating, electricity, and/or electronics is required.
+ Competencies in the areas of customer service, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal and communication skills are highly desired.
+ A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
+ Technical training in the bio-medical or electronics field is preferred.
+ General computer proficiency, including knowledge of Windows-based programs and experience with peripherals such as printers, backups, scanners and modems is strongly preferred.
+ Knowledge of SAP software is an asset.
+ What physical capabilities are required? You must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
