We are adding a Salesforce Solution Architect to our incredible Service Cloud practice! Working closely with and reporting to our Service Cloud Practice Lead, you will be responsible for bringing Salesforce project implementations to life by working with our customers to understand their business, identify their requirements, and design, develop, QA and launch their solutions. We are building a best-in-class delivery team and this role will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to our success by working with the rest of our talented team, exciting customers, and partnering closely with our Artificial Intelligence Team!
You will have the opportunity to:- Facilitate business process reviews to identify customer requirements and processes
- Translate customer requirements into Salesforce design, leveraging best practices and minimizing the need for custom development
- Configure Salesforce Service Cloud solutions
- Develop technical requirements and specifications for customers and the technical delivery team
- Drive best practice UX design into each and every aspect of solution delivery
- Manage all aspects of projects and customer communications
- Deliver customer end user training and documentation
- Oversee and be accountable for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned projects
- Exercise independent judgment, and take the lead role on enterprise level projects with minimal direction from senior management
- Lead vision and strategy discussions with contact center and customer service leadership and management
- Partner with our Artificial Intelligence team to create innovative Salesforce solutions for our customers
- 3+ years project experience in a hands on technical consulting and project management role
- 2+ years of project delivery experience with Salesforce
- Deep understanding of Salesforce administration required (Service Cloud & Sales Cloud)
- Expert in designing and creating Service Cloud solutions using Salesforce declarative configuration
- Experience with Experience Cloud and CRM Analytics highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to document requirements for technical resources, and ability to fully understand technical solutions leveraging Apex, VisualForce and Web Services
- Experience leading multiple Salesforce Project deployments including release and multi-environment management, integration to legacy systems using Salesforce APIs, and requiring original code development
- Professional experience owning the end-to-end Software/Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including structured code management, project management expertise and process methodology
- Experience leading Enterprise Service Cloud projects - including ground-up Service and Sales Cloud deployments
- Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines simultaneously

**What you need to have to be considered:**
+ 9+ years of experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Lightning, Integration, and Apex development.
+ Strong background in customizing Salesforce applications to meet business needs.
+ Deep understanding of Life and Annuities Insurance and Finance & Accounting domains.
+ Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (preferred).
+ Familiarity with core banking processes such as KYC, loan origination, credit scoring, and compliance.
+ Salesforce certifications:
+ Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
+ Salesforce Certified Administrator
+ Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Lead Salesforce Developer to join one of the largest Auctioneering companies in North America. The ideal candidate will have experience in Salesforce development, automation, and integrations. This role will primarily focus on Sales Cloud enhancements, with lighter involvement in Marketing Cloud development.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high quality software efficiently
Provide technical leadership
Write high quality, testable and easily maintainable code in a variety of languages (APEX/SOQL, Java, SQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS)
Perform code reviews and provide feedback to other development team members
Perform systems maintenance tasks
Lead and mentor team members in technical and procedural aspects of software development
Work with Product Owners in turning high-level business requirements into technical tasks and contribute to estimation
Work with all internal technical stakeholders (QA, System Integrators, Solutions Architects) to ensure product quality and reliability in production environments
Lead Software Development activities in an Agile workflow with Scrum, backlog grooming, retrospectives
Stay up to date on technical functionality, new releases and features that are both part of the platform and larger ecosystem. Identify and define opportunities to leverage those technologies for the betterment of software products and the Ritchie Bros. business
Work regular business hours remotely or onsite in Burnaby, BC
Some on-call after hours support may be required and must be available for critical production support incidents

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
5+ years developing software in a variety of environments with a focus on Salesforce
3+ years of Team Leadership
3+ years of Agile development
Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
Proficiency in automation tools and techniques within Salesforce.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration.
Experience with Salesforce mobile application including Maps and Sales Cloud
Expertise in Lightning Web Components and Apex.
Strong knowledge of SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
