Aston Carter's client in Abbotsford is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. Reporting to the Supervisor-Shipping, this position is responsible to organize trucks/couriers and create required pick/pack slips and shipping documentation in JDE system.
MUST HAVES;
- 3+ years administrative experience within a shipping/warehouse/manufacturing environment
- MS Office basic comprehension
- ERP software experience (JD Edwards/TME preferred)
Duties:
Uses TMS to tender the loads to carriers
Communicates with CSR team and other departments when needed
Pre-calls customers prior the shipping
Receives in JDE products and materials delivered to Abbotsford manufacturing site
Arranges outbound shipping of Maintenance/Production Department equipment & parts and QC samples
Occasionally arranges inbound shipments for production and other departments
Assists with finished goods cycle counts and provides stock-checks for the Shipping and Customers Service teams
Assists Shipping Supervisor to assign and prioritize customer shipments to hourly Loader Operators
General administrative support of the Shipping team including the scanning of shipping and receiving documents
Performs other duties as assigned by Shipping Supervisor.
Plans loads and processes the shipping documents (Domestic and International)
Assists with the customer returns
Codes the freight invoices in third party software program
Follows all safety rules and completes all safety trainings
Provides vacation coverage within Shipping department

**What should you bring to the role?**
+ Minimum High School Diploma.
+ Preferred post-secondary education in a related field.

Reporting to the Manager, Inventory Control, the Shipper/Receiving Coordinator will .
Manage material inventory for the production of electrical and mechanical sub systems of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Both Shipping and Receiving.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Shipping sales orders to customers
+ Shipping non sales order items to colleagues and customers around the globe
+ Scanning and packing systems
+ Managing material flow from receiving to production.
+ Decanting and distributing materials to the production team.
+ Executing inventory transactions and maintaining accurate records.
+ Providing backup support for the warehouse team.
+ Performing other duties as assigned.
**Preferred Skills and Experience**
+ Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
+ Experience working with ERP systems.
+ Ability to read and understand multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs).
+ Knowledge of work order execution processes.
+ Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) experience (preferred but not required).
