- Labeling and storage of inventory items and distribution of non-inventory items
- Delivery of samples to the Product Preparation area after entering into LIMS
- Oversee pick-up of hazardous waste
- Package and prepare shipping documents for outgoing shipments
- Monitoring inventory level, and requisitioning of gas cylinders
- Requisitioning of DI Tanks
- Requisitioning of water softener salt
- Undertake general sanitation and cleaning tasks, ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the laboratory
- Undertake minor maintenance tasks and assist other facilities staff with various duties
- Waste and recycling disposal (non-chemical)
- Parking lot maintenance- cleaning, de-icing walkways
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work cooperatively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills
- Multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Experience in a shipping/receiving role would be an asset
- Experience in preparing shipping documents, including international shipments would be an asset
