As our Shipping & Receiver , youll be responsible for ensuring all finished product is properly packed for shipping. As the work varies from day-to-day, our candidate must have a professional work ethic, ability to adapt to change, and strong problem-solving skills. Duties & Expectations:

• Skilled wood worker, responsible for cutting, building custom crates, banding skids, shrink wrapping, and labeling finished projects for shipment.
• Final inspection of products before they are shipped.
• Assist in trailer loading and securing.
• Assist with yard maintenance, waste management, and general shop labour.
• Consistently demonstrate sound safety practices, and host the ability to lift up to approx. 50 lbs.
• Effectively manage time to ensure on-time delivery of every project.
• Tickets to operate a skidsteer, telehandler, and forklift.
• Ability to drive with a trailer is an asset.
• Mature driver. Experience driving 1 ton and towing trailers.
• Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy & flexible.

+ Maintain warehouse pest and sanitary records in accordance with FME Canada's SOP.
+ Assist the Warehouse Manager conduct perpetual inventory counts and reconciliation.
+ Ensure warehouse equipment is routinely serviced, maintained in safe operational condition and operated in a safe manner at all times.
+ Report any safety or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
+ Provide backup coverage for the broad spectrum of Customer Service activities as required.
+ Carry a phone when required.

Summary:

The shipping/receiving associate verifies shipping and receiving and files for processing all shipping and receiving records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Picks and/or properly stores inventory items in correct location on warehouse floor or shelving.
