About the role

We’re looking for an Enterprise Account Executive, Shopify, to join our growing Sales team. You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting, to discovery, through to close, selling Rewind’s data protection and backup solutions to Shopify’s largest enterprise (plus) merchants. This is a unique greenfield opportunity to sell the number one solution in the market, with no true enterprise competitor.

This is primarily a hunter role. You will partner with our Marketing team to identify and target Shopify’s largest customers and execute tailored ABM outreach, centered around our lighthouse customers (including one of Shopify’s largest).

A deep knowledge of Shopify’s enterprise customer base and existing relationships within Shopify, Shopify Customers and Strategic Partners will be the key to success in this role.

You’ll receive inbound leads from our Shopify Marketplace listings, however, you will team-up with an SMB Account Executive who will lead the more transactional sales cycles, allowing you the freedom to focus on the highest value Shopify prospects.

This is an opportunity to capture a massive market undergoing transformation. Shopify merchants are scaling globally, integrating complex tech stacks, and seeking enterprise-grade protection for their critical ecommerce data. You’ll help them safeguard their storefronts and reputations with the peace of mind Rewind delivers.

What you’ll do

Sales process management

  • Own the entire sales process from prospecting to discovery to close, including procurement, infosec, and legal review.

  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering to deliver impactful demos, guided trials & POCs.

  • Keep opportunities updated daily in Salesforce for visibility and forecasting accuracy. AI use is encouraged!

New business generation

  • Drive net new revenue from enterprise Shopify Plus merchants and large-scale ecommerce brands.

  • Lead outbound campaigns targeting top-tier Shopify merchants.

  • Leverage the Shopify ecosystem relationships to identify and generate interest from new prospects

Market engagement & feedback

  • Support the Product team with feedback from prospects to help shape product direction.

  • Share learnings with the broader Sales team to improve our collective approach.

  • Attend industry events and meet with customers on-site as needed.

What you’ll bring
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS closing experience , with 3+ years selling to ecommerce or digital retail businesses.

  • Proven success selling into or partnering with the Shopify ecosystem (Shopify Plus experience strongly preferred).

  • Deep understanding of ecommerce business models, data workflows, and the merchant mindset.

  • Strong discovery and storytelling skills—you connect business challenges to technical solutions.

  • A creative, proactive approach to prospecting and relationship management.

Nice to have
  • Experience at Shopify or a Shopify ecosystem partner (agency, app, or tech platform).

  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms beyond Shopify (BigCommerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).

  • Previous experience with data protection, SaaS backup, or security solutions.

Location and working hours

This is a hybrid role based in Toronto , working from the office 3 days/week. Occasional travel to customer sites or ecommerce events (e.g., Shopify Unite, Shoptalk) may be required.

Why join Rewind

Here, you’ll be encouraged to think differently, push boundaries, and make a meaningful impact. We also believe in giving back—to our customers, our teammates, and our communities.
