We are looking for a Service Wash/Shuttle Driver to join our Applewood GM Port Hardy team who enjoys washing and detailing vehicles, possess excellent customer service skills, and can work independently as well as part of a team. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Service Wash/Shuttle Driver to join our team and play a key role in maintaining high standards of vehicle presentation and providing friendly, professional transportation for our customers.
The Role
- Vehicle Washing & Detailing: Clean, wash, vacuum, and prepare customer and dealership vehicles to a showroom-ready standard.
- Customer Shuttle Driving : Safely and courteously transport customers to and from the dealership within designated service areas.
- Vehicle Movement & Organization: Assist with vehicle staging, parking, and lot organization to support sales and service operations.
- General Wash Bay Maintenance: Keep the wash bay clean, safe, and stocked with necessary supplies at all times.
- Customer Service Support : Provide friendly, professional interactions with customers, and assist staff as needed to ensure a positive dealership experience.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Measurables:
- Vehicle Clean Score : This measures the cleanliness of the car based on its category (Delivery, Show, and Lot). This will be measured by spot checking and using the Vehicle Cleanliness Scorecard.
- Customer satisfaction score (CSI): This measures customers' satisfaction with their experience when visiting the lot. This can be measured through surveys or feedback forms.
- Lot Maintenance score : This measures the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including the condition of vehicles and the overall appearance of the lot. A high lot maintenance score indicates that the lot is well-maintained and presents a professional image to customers.
- Employee performance metrics: This includes metrics such as attendance, punctuality, quality of work, and adherence to safety regulations. By tracking these metrics, the Wash Bay Attendant can identify areas where employee performance can be improved and take steps to address them.
- Safety Compliance score: This measures the dealership's compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. A high safety compliance score indicates that the dealership is taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety of both customers and employees.
Compensation:
The total compensation range for the Service Car Wash/Shuttle position at Applewood GM Port Hardy is based on an hourly rate of $18 - $20 per hour. Please note that this range is provided as a general guideline and may vary depending on the qualifications and expertise of the selected candidate.

- Assist passengers with luggage, including loading and unloading
