Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily on-site activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in construction, in general construction, restoration or renovation projects. ICI Projects.
- Solid understanding of construction practices, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team coordination and problem-solving.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site logistics.
- Proficiency in preparing site documentation and reports.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation; safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights) are an asset.
Education & Certifications:
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

What You’ll Do

- Keep accurate attendance and project site records.

What You Bring
- 7+ years’ experience supervising retail, corporate, or airport construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
- Certifications: Basics of Supervision, CPR/First Aid, Working at Heights.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Hands-on technical experience e.g., carpentry, drywall, framing, site layout.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to multitask, solve problems under pressure, and adapt quickly.
- Flexibility to work nights or travel out of town as projects require.

The Site Supervisor will be called upon to coordinate activities on our construction sites, and to supervise all site personnel, including those of our subcontractors. More specifically, the site supervisor's responsibilities are as follows:
+ Be accountable for the application of the company's health and safety rules and policies for all participants on site;
+ Comply with the various work instructions and guidelines, protocols and procedures arising from our quality control systems and other company policies;
+ Supervise and document construction activities on site;
+ Organize and direct subcontractors and suppliers in the execution of work;
+ Liaise with project managers, consultants and designers, as well as with internal and external team members;
+ Effectively resolve problems encountered on site;
+ Provide updates on progress and forecast trends of field work to Project Managers;
**What you'll bring to WSP:**
+ A college diploma in civil, mining or equivalent technical engineering;
+ 5 to 7 years' experience in a similar position;
+ Experience in projects related to mining, site rehabilitation, demolition and/or infrastructure is desirable;
+ Northern experience is an asset;
+ Excellent organizational skills;
+ Leadership skills;
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills;

**Salary range: $82,900 to $114,000**
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
