Job Description
+ The Channel Expansion Manager, Pet Business Unit is responsible for identifying and developing channel expansion opportunities to increase market penetration and revenue growth in the pet market. They will develop a comprehensive plan, including financials to expand into new markets. This role includes managing the financial aspects of channel expansion, developing and managing the P&L and focusing on gross to net calculations to ensure profitability. Additionally, it involves developing and executing commercial strategies that meet financial objectives in coordination with the Business Unit Director (BUD) and Marketing Manager.
+ The Channel Expansion Manager will use insights from business, market, and customer data analysis to guide promotional strategies within expanding channels. They will build a deep understanding of Boehringer Ingelheim's customers, partners, and shoppers to position Boehringer Ingelheim products as market leaders. They will develop relationships and attend key customer meetings.
+ The Channel Expansion Manager will create, produce, and implement ecommerce/trade marketing materials and customer-specific toolkits in alignment with brand managers. They will work with the BUD and Marketing Manager to deliver profitable growth in line with or above budget for the full Boehringer Ingelheim product portfolio across ecommerce/eretail and category expansion opportunities. They will work to position Boehringer Ingelheim as the strategic partner of choice to deliver long-term profitable growth in expanding categories.
+ This role requires close collaboration and communication with the Business Unit Director, Marketing Manager, and Director of CE to ensure alignment. They will work with Regulatory and Supply Chain to ensure regulatory requirements are met and product supply is aligned with business requirements. They will work collaboratively with all stakeholders in a matrix environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and Implement Channel Expansion Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive marketing/business plans that demonstrate a deep understanding of the market and the brands to expand to new evolving channels and increase market share. Build and agree (with leadership team and the customer) joint Business Plans in a timely manner in line with brand strategy and budget, and review these plans quarterly with the customer and BUD. Make the channel plan a reality, track progress and demonstrate proactive attitude if deviation predicted
+ Distribution Requirements: Collaborate with local and global RA and Supply Chain to identify product requirements needed to move product into expanded channels. Ensure logistics are set up to deliver the needs of the channel/customer
+ Pricing and commercial offers: Collaborate with MM, BUD and CE to design and implement pricing and commercial offers to ensure high profitability, alignment with gross to net corridors and achieve budgets.
+ Market Analysis: Conduct regular market assessments to identify new opportunities for channel expansion and stay ahead of industry trends. Using data and insights to drive planning and strategy. This includes identifying and localizing global initiatives
+ Key Brand strategies.
+ Partner Management: Develop, maintain and nurture exceptional relationships with customers and key business partners in expanding eretail/ecommerce channel.
+ Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics (KPIs) to optimize marketing efforts and ensure ROI.
+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and successful product launches.
+ Data Insights: Partner with CE and Finance to develop necessary tracking, modeling and analytics necessary to sell, offer commercial offers and manage data necessary to move products into expanding channels.
+ Communication: Accountable for regular communication with internal colleagues and key stakeholders to ensure market insights are shared and colleagues are focused on the achievement of key targets/responsive to customer and market needs.
+ Training and Support: Develop and implement training programs for channel partners to enhance their understanding of our products and marketing initiatives
+ Develop & manage the online customer journey, feeding insights into the brand team to advise on traffic driving activity associated with branded online presence.
+ Conduct competitive benchmarking to ensure strong competitive presence in new expanded channel space.
+ Ensure promotional activation materials are developed according to shopper requirements and brand objectives.
+ Forecast and track progress of rebate actuals against forecast and report on deviations and proposed solutions where required.
+ Accountable for development and monitoring of P&L for defined customers Develop, monitor and track P&L requirements with Finance to ensure accurate measurement and tracking of new channel.
+ Provide input to monthly forecast to each brand manager responsible for brand moving into ecommerce channel.
+ Management of issues related to rebates, gross to net for direct with the customer and with BUD
+ Management of cost centre and the budget for production as part of the franchise DP investment Work with global category leads to collaborate on ecommerce category vision and core project implementation with relevant team members
This position is based in the Burlington, Ontario office located at 5180 South Service Road and is **flexible.**
Employees in flexible roles are required to be at the office a minimum of 50% of the time each month and must report to the office when requested and required by their Manager/Department.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Science and/or Marketing, MBA preferred, 5+years in Animal Health, or related field. Experience in eretial, ecommerce or similar.
+ Strong commercial focus
+ Experience in Brand/Trade/Customer marketing
+ Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle deadlines and multi- task
+ Knowledge of different customer marketing channels in the animal health business and tactics and the merits and drawbacks of each

Evergreen Veterinary Dentistry Services is expanding and seeking 2–3 highly motivated, experienced RVTs to join our referral-based dentistry and oral surgery practice. Our practice is led by a board-certified veterinary dentist (American Veterinary Dental College) and is the only board-certified veterinary dentistry clinic in the city of greater Victoria—serving a regional population of nearly one million people and attracting clients from the Yukon, Alaska, Washington State, and mainland BC.
With an associate doctor joining us in January 2026, we are building and training her support team now. This is a unique opportunity to join a specialized practice dedicated to advanced dentistry and oral surgery for companion animals.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all technical responsibilities of an RVT, including patient care, client communication, recordkeeping, and teamwork with veterinarians
Maintain a high standard of patient safety, comfort, and care throughout all procedures
Provide skilled anesthesia monitoring and support for a wide range of patients, including higher-risk anesthesia cases
Operate and monitor ventilator-assisted anesthesia (training provided if needed)
Perform dental radiographs, prophylaxis
Support advanced dentistry and oral surgery procedures including:
Periodontics and guided tissue regeneration
Complicated extractions and root canal therapy
Orthodontics, occlusion management, and crown therapy
Restorative and pediatric dentistry

Qualifications
Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) in good standing
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as an RVT required
Strong anesthesia experience essential, particularly with high-need cases
Proficiency in veterinary dentistry, including dental radiographs and prophylaxis
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Interest in advanced dentistry and oral surgery (training provided for specialty procedures)
VTS (Anesthesia) candidates strongly encouraged to apply

Evergreen Veterinary Dentistry Services is a privately owned referral specialty clinic dedicated to providing exceptional high quality veterinary dentistry care and being committed to improving the oral health and overall wellbeing of companion animals. Our team is lead by a board-certified veterinary dentistry specialist and we have an advanced dentistry practice veterinarian joining the team in January 2026. We provide basic to advanced services, in addition to treating patients with multiple health issues or those that can be of a more challenging anesthetic procedure. We work closely with referring veterinarians and pet owners to provide comprehensive, compassionate and professional care.
We have a system where pet guardians are heavily involved in their pet's time with us at the clinic and involved in decision making processes.
We foster a collaborative environment where every team member plays a vital role in patient outcomes. We are passionate about teaching, learning and team growth with support of continuing education opportunities, mentorship and access to high end equipment and products.
