Job Responsibilities:
- Develop Statement of Work for automation projects.
- Lead automation projects from concept through implementation.
- Monitor suppliers and internal stakeholders during project development.
- Conduct Proof of concept projects of automation projects to validate new technology and applications.
- Receive and provide training to manufacturing engineering teams related to digitalization.
- Capture and validate best practices in automation and digitalization tools across MML divisions.
- Identify and select project priorities according to group strategy.
- Support creation of technical guidelines for automation / digitalization projects.
- Ensure Lean principles are in being followed going after automation projects.
Professional Experience and Education:
- College Diploma / University Degree in designated area
- Experience 5+ years in manufacturing / automation engineering.
- Must be experienced in reading mechanical, system and layout drawings.
- Experience in creating drawings in AutoCAD
- Experience in Robot programming basics (ABB, Fanuc etc.).
Skills and Competencies:
- Understanding PLC programming, networking protocols and technologies
- Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed
- Knowledge of different project management methodologies
- Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills required.
- Demonstrated excellent leadership skills required

A minimum of 7 + years of practical experience in both design/implementation of ICAT systems and system integration
Post-Secondary Degree in Building Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Proven deployments in Smart Buildings or Smart Hospitals, either in new construction or retro-fit projects
Understanding of IP converged networks to allow for data exchange between systems to support integration requirements
Understanding of cloud-based solutions such as Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform to enable cloud hosted solutions
Ability to clearly articulate the needs of technology and break it down into schedule, cost, and quality impacts to better translate to our construction teams

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AMI Smart Grid- Senior Firmware Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced firmware solutions for our smart metering and AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) products. This role plays a key part in shaping our embedded systems architecture and driving the implementation of secure, efficient, and reliable firmware. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge in DLMS/COSEM protocols, embedded systems, and energy metering technologies, along with strong collaboration and mentoring skills. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative smart grid solutions that support the global energy transition.
Corinex is hiring range for this role is CAD $110,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of embedded firmware for AMI applications, security suites DLMS/cosem, metering data processing and profile collection algorithms.
- Collaborate with hardware and product test teams to ensure seamless integration and testing of end products.
- Optimize firmware for performance, memory usage, reliability, and power efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure code quality and stability.
- Participate in system architecture design and provide technical leadership in embedded systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to firmware development best practices.
- Work with product management to understand requirements and translate them into functional firmware solutions.

Tim Horton Field you will have the opportunity to work with an amazing team of people at some of Hamilton's highest profile events from Live Concerts, to CFL Football, and CPL Soccer Games.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver best in class security service for Hamilton
- Deliver excellent customer care to our clients and their guests
- Implement venue and event security processes
- Ensure compliance with standards and venue regulations
- Appreciate the value of every guest who attends the event
- Monitor crowd movements and behaviour
- Flexible working arrangements, select the shifts that work best for you
- Part-Time/Seasonal hours
Key requirements
- A minimum of 1 years security experience in the Ontario security sector
- Hold a Valid Security licence, a valid First Aid Cert, a Smart Serve Licence
- Outstanding communication skills
- Have a passion for working with others to deliver a great event experience
- The ability to work weekends
- Ability to work and be on your feet for up to 10 hours
- Bring a positive welcoming attitude to your role
- French language fluency an advantage
