In this role, you will be developing and updating IR playbook and runbooks, conducting IR investigations, and participating in IRDF and security governance projects.
Responsibilities:
· Create and update incident response playbooks and runbooks
· Develop and update incident response methodologies, procedures, and processes
· Develop, review, and maintain security policies and standards in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory frameworks
· Enhance existing IR practice and review of internal processes and activities to assist in identifying potential opportunities for improvement
· Lead and conduct incidents investigation, containment, and remediation
· Engage with clients and guide them on a broad range of technology throughout the incident lifecycle
· Perform root cause analysis for cyber incidents and breaches
· Conduct malware analysis and sandboxing
· Collaborate in forensics investigations
· Provide expert-level briefings to internal and external stakeholders during and after incidents
· Train team members to use and apply IR playbooks and runbooks
· Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives and projects
· Contribute to penetration test projects
· Manage and optimize security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, and SOAR
· Conduct proactive threat hunting activities using EDR/SIEM data
· Evaluate new threat vectors and support detection engineering teams to improve defenses
· Collaborate in maintaining and managing internal threat intel platforms to aggregate, enrich, and distribute threat intelligence data to internal teams and clients
· Contribute to cyber risk assessments and security awareness programs
· Contribute to phishing campaign simulations and monitoring their effectiveness

Requirements:
· This position requires employees to work from the GHS Toronto office a minimum of three days per week
· 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on incident investigation and response
· Proven experience in conducting incident investigation and response, including analysis, containment, and remediation
· Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, information technology, information security, computer forensics, or a related field
· Expertise in analyzing Windows, Linux, and macOS logs and incidents
· Familiar with at least one SIEM and one EDR solution (e.g., QRadar, Splunk, SecOps, CrowdStrike, Defender, etc.)
· Knowledge of common technologies and protocols, like SIEM, IAM, Unix scripting, TCP/IP, LDAP, HTTP, DNS, Radius, SSO, Active Directory, cloud computing, etc.

About the Role:
LTS Protective Services is currently hiring a Dispatch Security Guard to join our Operations Centre team. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing communications, coordinating incident response, monitoring CCTV systems, and providing indirect supervision to frontline security personnel.
As the central communication point for field staff and management, the Dispatch Security Guard must remain calm under pressure, demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and ensure accurate record-keeping in real time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch security personnel to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
- Monitor incoming radio transmissions, telephone calls, and emails; document all communications accurately in the dispatch log.
- Track and coordinate field operations, dispatching backup support as needed.
- Maintain real-time monitoring of the CCTV camera system; report and document suspicious activity or policy breaches.
- Update and manage lost and found, emergency contact lists, and key control systems.
- Conduct periodic security equipment audits and report deficiencies.
- Relay major incidents to management immediately.

The successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and protection of the Toronto Jewish community by supporting the operations of the 24/7 command centre, working within a dynamic team of support staff.
Reporting to the Manager, Security Operations Centre, SOC Operators will serve as the first point of contact for all incoming calls for support and field intelligence reports. Through monitoring a wide array of digital assets via centralized software and phone hotlines, SOC Operators will synthesize large amounts of critical information quickly, coordinate routine and emergency incident communications, and create comprehensive records of security-related incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the SOC on a shift-basis using sophisticated technology and supporting assets
- Manage incidents as they arise, manage appropriate responses, and conduct detailed record keeping
- Provide direct support to Jewish institutions, agencies, and/or personnel during emergencies
- Tend to crises using a set of pre-determined protocols, working as part of the SOC and the larger JSN team
- Coordinate with other internal and external security assets as needed
- Attend regular meetings and trainings, and assist with peer-to-peer training sessions

Monitor and maintain security systems to ensure optimal functionality
Compile and analyze statistical data, including monthly and year-end security reports

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably within the security, law enforcement, or risk management industries
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, operational environment
Technical proficiency with Lenel Access Control, Two-Way Radio Communication & NATO Phonetic Alphabet, CCTV systems (e.g., Avigilon), and visitor management systems
Strong decision-making capabilities, particularly in emergency or high-stress situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in report writing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with the ability to generate analytical reports
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence
