Job Description

Job Description

Sales Executive, Software Innovation Delivery (HSE )

About Us!

Founded in 2011, Hatch Innovations is based in Vancouver and has an international team with over 80 people located across the globe. We're creative thinkers who have a passion for technology and are constantly thinking of innovative solutions to help better serve your business and customers. Our clients include video game publishers such as Electronic Arts, Epic Games and Krafton.

About the Role!

We are looking for a driven, passionate, and results-oriented Sales Executive to drive new business partnerships with enterprises that maintain dedicated Innovation, R&D, and Corporate Venture divisions.

In a competitive market where organizational agility is paramount, large companies need specialized partners to quickly build and staff their future-focused teams (e.g., Innovation Labs, CVC units, and R&D pipelines). Your core mission is to establish and close relationships with mid-to-senior level executives who control the budget for these critical projects. We seek a passionate professional ready to thrive in a high-velocity, commission-driven environment.

If you are ambitious, possess sharp communication skills, and are eager to prove your ability to navigate complex business development, this role offers a rewarding challenge.

This is a remote position.

You will:

Sales and Account Development

  • Manage Sales Cycle: Effectively manage the entire sales funnel from cold outreach to closed contract.
  • Targeted Outreach: Proactively prospect and engage decision-makers (Directors and VPs) within Innovation, R&D, and Technology departments of enterprise organizations.
  • Discovery and Qualification: Utilize a collaborative, consultative approach to conduct deep-dive discovery calls, identifying the client's specific talent gaps, project requirements, and operational pain points.
  • Value-Driven Closing: Quantify the business risk of talent scarcity (e.g., the cost of project delays or bad hires) to position our specialized solutions as a strategic, high-ROI investment for their innovation roadmap.

Collaborative Solutioning and Deal Management

  • Team Collaboration: Partner closely with our internal Solution Architects and experienced recruiters who possess the deep technical and domain expertise required for complex innovation roles (e.g., AI/ML, Design Thinking, DevOps). Your primary role is to secure the meeting, drive the commercial relationship, and close the deal.
  • Solution Presentation: Present tailored talent engagement models, including Dedicated Teams, Contract-to-Hire, and Staff Augmentation, to meet client needs for project velocity and scaling agility.
  • Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations on commercial terms, including placement fees, hourly markups, and project scope agreements.

Market Engagement and Brand Building

  • Digital Presence: Actively leverage social selling platforms, especially LinkedIn, to build a professional brand, engage with prospective client content, and establish initial familiarity before direct outreach.
  • Pipeline Management: Rigorously track and manage all sales activities and forecasts within our CRM system to ensure consistent follow-up and pipeline health.

You have:

  • Experience: 46 years of demonstrated success in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the staffing, recruitment, or technology services industries.
  • Mindset: Must be a high-energy, ambitious, and passionate individual with a strong competitive drive and a willingness to be coached.
  • Foundational Knowledge: Foundational understanding of the technology landscape and enterprise hiring challenges.
