About the Role

As a Technical Product Manager at Sync, you’ll lead the development of high-impact features that drive customer satisfaction and business growth. You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional user experiences and own key product workflows from strategy to launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own features end-to-end. Write clear PRDs, develop wireframes, document functionality, coordinate across teams, and lead execution to deliver results.

  • Prioritize effectively. Balance operations, foundational improvements, and new features to deliver maximum value.

  • Know your customer. Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Customer Success to deeply understand customer needs and ensure you're solving the right problems. Conduct user interviews, research and competitive analysis to validate.

  • Drive impact. Define problems, propose solutions, estimate impact, and lead execution. Navigate trade-offs, risks, data, and stakeholder expectations through clear communication.

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience (e.g., software development, systems engineering).

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. Able to build alignment, translate strategy, make tough decisions, and communicate trade-offs.

  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to edge cases and usability.

  • Proven track record of delivering measurable user and business outcomes.

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to translate complex technical and infrastructure driven efforts into simplified market-winning initiatives.

  • Experience leading technical projects with engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud storage, file synchronization, file sharing, and role-based access control products including Dropbox, Box.com, and Proton.

  • Deep understanding of encryption methodologies, including end-to-end encryption (E2EE) and zero-knowledge (ZK) architecture.

  • Excellent project management skills.

The Impact You Will Have

  • Define and Own the Integration Strategy: Collaborate with product leadership to define and evolve the roadmap for integrations with Agentic systems, CCaaS platforms, and third-party tools.
  • Lead API Platform Development: Drive the evolution of our public APIsbalancing performance, security, and developer experience.
  • Build and Scale Integration Partnerships: Act as the primary product interface for integration partners. Enable partner developers, guide joint solution designs, and ensure mutual success.
  • Be the Voice of the Developer: Develop a deep understanding of developer needs and use cases to inform prioritization, documentation, and onboarding experiences.

What Are We Looking For?

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with a focus on technical products, APIs, or integrations.
  • Deep understanding of software integration patterns and technologies (REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, SDKs).
  • Proven experience building and scaling API-first products and managing developer ecosystems.
  • Experience working with Agentic systems, AI automation frameworks, or intelligent orchestration platforms is a strong plus.
  • A track record of working with technical partners and third-party developers, including co-development or certification programs.
  • SaaS domain expertise, with an understanding of how integrations influence adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Strong collaboration skillscomfortable aligning across Engineering, GTM, Customer Success, and Partnerships.
