What will you be doing?

As a Special Needs Educational Assistant , you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Helping children with various degrees of need in the learning environment.
• Planning and implementing programming based on the need of the child supported by a certificated teacher.
• Effectively communicating and building a relationship with children and families.
• Ability to collaborate with a team.

• Ability to write an IPP, tracking and planning forms as well as parent communication are required.

• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

HealthOPM is hiring a Child & Youth Support Worker to provide behavioral, emotional, and daily living support to a male youth with autism and complex needs. This is a temporary placement through our staffing agency with stable hours and the chance to make a difference.

Pay & Perks

Hourly rate: $23+ per hour , depending on experience and qualifications

Flexible weekday or weekend scheduling

Supportive agency team and compliance assistance

Build valuable experience working with youth who have complex needs

Key Responsibilities

Support daily activities and provide behavioral guidance
