Job Description
Take ownership of the technological vision, software quality, and operational excellence for the eCommerce platform teams, including architecture, metrics and practices.
Lead by example in building great software. Get hands-on with the code, such as building a proof of concept, tackling a gnarly bug or feature. Participate in the design and delivery of new features in a collaborative agile/scrum environment.
Responsible for designing and implementing scalable and resilient systems that meet the needs of our rapidly growing business.
Find ways to coach and level-up the technical skills of multiple pods of developers using your knowledge and expertise. Provide mentoring, especially to Senior Developers. Drive reviews of technical artifacts.

Extensive experience (8+ years) with Java and a variety of technologies including distributed systems, microservices architecture.
Proven track record of working on large and complex software systems that span across teams.

- Organize and prepare accounting records, financial statements, and reports for the Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities:
Work as part of a dynamic team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
Act as a tech lead developer owning technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform, fault tolerant application systems
Continuously improve software engineering developer experience; identify gaps in existing internal framework and tools and contribute
Establish Engineering best practices; identify and establish best practices and standards, such as code review standards.
Technical expertises and Problem solving; define technical standards and providing technical support to ensure Engineering best practices are consistently met
Architecture ownership - apply strong understanding of how evolving technology affects domain, follow High Level Design (HLD) methodology and contribute to HLD

**Role Overview**
+ Build, implement and improve architecture and performance of large-scale distributed systems.
+ Design/build backend authentication and userprofile management service to ensure stability and high-performance and build CI/CD pipelines.
+ Work hand in hand with engineers to develop tools to automate tasks, resolve bottlenecks, and improve scalability/reliability to keep up with our growth.
**Qualifications:**
+ A strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, etc. Proficient Java is preferred
+ 8+ years of experience in cloud development.
+ Experience building and scaling large distributed systems and cloud computing with AWS & Azure
**Bonus** :
+ Previous experience in IAM such as SAML, OAuth, any entitlement software, and user profile management
+ Experience developing infrastructure as code automation using Terraform.
+ Deep understanding of Containers, Docker, EKS, Kubernetes
+ Experience building CI with Jenkins/Cloudbees
+ Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Splunk
+ Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure solutions (security, storage, networking, databases).
+ A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar

Base Pay Range: 194,475.00 - 285,230.00 USD
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:
Base Pay Range: 162,375.00 - 238,150.00 USD
All other cities and states excluding those listed above:
Base Pay Range: 148,425.00 - 217,690.00 USD
