People Store Staffing Solutions is currently hiring hardworking and reliable Warehouse Associates for a large Cold Storage facility located in Guelph, Ontario!
SHIFT TIME:
7AM to 3PM - Monday to Friday
3PM to 11PM - Monday to Frinday
11PM to 7PM - Sunday to Thursday
7AM to 7PM - Friday to Sunday
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to train on the day/afternoon shift for two weeks
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience operating a reach truck or dock stocker machine and have a valid licence!
- Comfortable taking on general labour duties as required (case picking, packing etc)
- Experience using RF Scanner is an asset
- Able to work in a cold storage/freezer setting (freezer jacket and pants provided to keep you nice and warm!)
- Must be hard working, reliable and a team player! We need people who are willing to jump in and help whenever needed
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Lift up to 30lbs as required

**Job description**
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role ensures production lines are supplied with the correct materials in a timely manner and adheres to strict aerospace quality and safety standards.

Skills and Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills are required. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Education and/or Certifications: high school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience: 3 to 5 of work-related experience, preferably operating lift trucks.
Specialized Knowledge: License to safely operate Forklifts/Tow Motors is an asset. Previous experience with Coolant Control would be an asset.
Physical Effort: lifting up to 40 pounds and carrying of boxes. Ability to manoeuvre around the facility including stairs and confined spaces.

Responsible for general cleanliness of machine shop and Coolant Control

As a Warehouse Associate I, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of materials. This involves receiving and inspecting incoming goods, preparing and shipping outgoing products, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work from written or verbal instructions from team lead, system-generated picking documents, and established work routines.
+ Verify that part numbers match packing slips and that quantities are correct.
+ Receive incoming parts on the dock and/or Truck Bay, relocate them, and ensure they are allocated to proper locations, filing receiving paperwork.
+ Prepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights, and affixing proper postage and paperwork.
+ Pick, pack, move, put away, wrap, and load skids of various dimensions and weights.
+ Interface with warehouse office, customer service, drivers, and carriers to ensure proper delivery.
+ Pick and count material of various weights and sizes accurately.
+ Support Dock activities when required.
+ Operate lift equipment safely to move material in and out of high bay racking and around the plant.
+ Perform cycle counts and audits.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of warehouse material handling experience, warehouse/shipping experience & order picking with RF scanner.
+ Valid Forklift license (Reach & Electric Counterbalance).
+ Inventory control experience.
**Work Environment**
Work in a production facility that is clean and spacious, although loud in some areas. The environment involves working in narrow aisles. The shift is from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
