Summary The Supply Chain Analyst will support key functions across Demand, Production, and Supply Planning. - Microsoft Excel (Advanced: Power Query, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Basic Macros)
- Microsoft PowerPoint (Strong formatting and visual communication skills)
- PowerBI (Familiarity with navigating, filtering, and interpreting reports)

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance service levels and working capital.
- Identify and mitigate risks of part shortages or excess stock through proactive planning and replenishment strategies.
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies across the service parts supply chain.
- Develop and implement solutions for improvement in logistics, warehousing, and planning processes.
- Utilize ERP and supply chain management tools to generate insights, KPI reports, and dashboards.
- Participate in new product introductions (NPIs) and end-of-life (EOL) planning for service parts.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, engineering, customer service, and finance teams to streamline end-to-end service part delivery.
- Establish the location of each part with clear references.
- Determine minimum quantities required based on part history and current releases
- Forecast weekly requirements two weeks out at all times.

JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain & Data Analytics, the Senior Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company's supply chain operations. This position involves conducting inventory forecasts, coordinating new program launches, and leveraging a team of Supply Chain Specialists and Analysts.
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for supporting replenishment purchase order proposals, inventory analysis, and MRP assessments.
Additionally, the Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for improving forecast models by thoroughly understanding the existing frameworks, identifying gaps, and implementing continuous enhancements. They will lead forecasting activities and leverage data to optimize model performance, with full accountability for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the forecasts.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct monthly MRP reviews and support order generation based on demand requirements.
- Lead supply chain efforts for new product and customer launches, coordinating with Specialists and cross-functional teams.
- Achieve budgeted inventory levels using system tools to analyze inventory requirements
- Analyze and support inventory planning, allocation, and rebalancing to maintain target stock levels.
- Provide support determining optimal purchase order quantities for products within several product categories, balancing purchase quantities, lead times and safety stock with customer targets
- Identify and resolve inventory availability risks through proactive planning and corrective actions.
- Partner with Specialists to work with vendors to improve on-time delivery and fill rate performance.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, packaging, finance, and logistics to meet service level targets.
- Provide analytical support to Customer Service related to customer specific availability and Fill Rate related inquiries
- Partner with vendors to ensure compliance and smooth product flow
- Bom Flips and Build Merge requests along with maintenance in Pronto & Min/Max
- Build and maintain SKU-level forecasts, including initial projections for new products, by leveraging historical data, market insights, and forecasting tools.
- Run monthly forecast models, adjust for anomalies, and monitor forecast accuracy for continuous improvement.
- Measure and monitor the forecast model’s accuracy to drive continuous improvement.
- Create and update Tableau dashboards (e.g., forecast accuracy, POS), supporting management with actionable insights.
- Leverage Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib) for advanced analytics, modeling, and visualization.
- Proactively analyze market trends, customer behavior, and external factors to identify potential “riser” SKUs and recommend forecast adjustments for items with anticipated demand growth.
- Analyze and update ABC classification codes (Pop codes)
- Automate manual processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
- Develop dashboards using Power BI and extract data using SQL; leverage Azure for advance data management and analytics.
- Drive forecasting and supply chain improvements by collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma; specialization in supply chain, engineering, IT, statistics, or a related field is an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, procurement, and/or purchasing, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
- Experience working with corporate ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, are essential.
- Proficient in Power Query and Power BI; Power BI experience is a strong asset.

The Director of Inventory Management will oversee and direct the daily inventory operations and strategy across the organization. This role encompasses forecasting, planning, inventory management, distribution, and delivery, all with the aim of providing an easy and enjoyable customer experience, ensuring the right product, in the right place, at the right time. The role will report to the Vice President of Supply Chain and can be based in Calgary or Edmonton, AB, or Winnipeg, MB or Vancouver, BC.
Responsibilities
- Lead the inventory management team to create a long-term supply strategy for the product offerings ensuring product availability in all regions
- Develop and execute supply plans and strategies for branches and customers, including demand planning and inventory management across multiple product categories
- Implement inventory management best practices and leverage ERP and other technologies
- Oversee end-to-end product life cycle management
- Develop and leverage data and KPI reporting to monitor performance, including inventory availability, investment, buffer stock, material aging, and forecast accuracy
- Guide the inventory team in analyzing customer inventory needs and informing replenishment and expediting requirements
- Develop and manage annual inventory budgets, including adjustments for obsolete and slow-moving inventory
- Align sales and operational forecasts with budgets and category sales growth in collaboration with sales teams

- Completion of SCMP or CMP designation is considered an asset
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive Inventory Management experience, with 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Experience in inventory and supply chain management, ideally in high-SKU or long-tail environments (e.g., distribution, retail, CPG)
- Proven track record of leading teams and developing other leaders
- Strong analytical and forecasting background, with hands-on ERP and inventory systems experience
