Hologic is seeking a dynamic and driven Surgical Sales Specialist to join our Canadian sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device sales, with a focus on surgical products. As a Surgical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Hologic's innovative surgical solutions to healthcare professionals within the assigned territory in collaboration with your Territory Manager. Your goal will be to exceed sales targets, foster long-term relationships with clients, educate Healthcare professionals on our products and clinical outcomes, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory in collaboration with your Territory Manager.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, hospital administrators, and other key healthcare stakeholders.
+ Conduct product demonstrations, in-service training, and educational workshops for medical professionals.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and clinical support, to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
+ Gather market intelligence on competitors' products, pricing, and strategies to inform sales tactics.
+ Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and educational events to network and promote Hologic's products.
+ Provide daily in-person case support for our products in a clinical setting.
+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in all activities and communications.
+ Prepare and deliver sales presentations to multiple stakeholders.
+ Utilize CRM tools to document sales activities, manage accounts, and maintain accurate records.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
+ Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience. Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on surgical products is an additional asset.
+ Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and procurement processes.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
+ Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Often 2-3 nights a week away from home.
+ A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités :
+ Effectuer la vente des produits de la division CSS (Codman Specialty Surgical) dans les hôpitaux ciblés. Comprendre les opportunités du marché et conclure des ventes afin de dépasser les objectifs trimestriels.
+ Développer des stratégies de comptes à court et à long terme ainsi que des relations avec les clients afin d'atteindre les objectifs annuels de revenus dans toutes les catégories de produits.
+ Développer des relations à long terme avec les clients, y compris le personnel clinique, l'administration hospitalière, les associations de patients, etc.
+ Rechercher des opportunités pour développer des programmes spécifiques aux produits actuels et nouveaux, et mettre en œuvre efficacement les stratégies établies par la direction.
+ Offrir un soutien lors des interventions chirurgicales en fournissant tout l'équipement et les produits nécessaires; démontrer une expertise dans tous les produits, assurer le suivi et la résolution des problèmes.

Qualifications :
+ Diplôme universitaire de 4 ans.
+ Résidence à Québec.
+ Expérience en vente de dispositifs médicaux en salle d'opération, et idéalement aussi en unité de soins intensifs.
+ Compétences démontrées en planification commerciale, en consultation et en analyse financière de territoire.
+ Capacité à développer un marché en mobilisant plusieurs décideurs (cliniques et non-cliniques).

Conduct sales of CSS (Codman Specialty Surgical) Division products in targeted hospital accounts. Understand market sales opportunities and close orders to exceed quarterly sales targets.
+ Develop short and long-term account strategies and relationships with customers to achieve annual revenue targets in all product categories
+ Responsible for development of long-term relationships with customers, including clinical customers, hospital administration, patient associations, etc.
+ Seek opportunities to develop current and new product specific programs, effectively implementing strategies developed by senior leadership
+ Offer support during surgeries by providing all necessary equipment and products required; demonstrates expertise in all products, follow-up support and troubleshooting techniques.
+ Use SalesForce.com (customer relationship management systems) and other communication systems to ensure optimal account coordination, knowledge, strategy and teamwork.
